I booked our Segway Tour this morning! The CM said, "I hope I have something available for you on those two days." It was Kismet because we wanted the 7:45 tour on 12/22 and that is exactly all she had!

Becky, I think that you will find that a lot of us are a bit lost and many have no idea what they want to do with the rest of their life. Vicki just mentioned her need to soul search, Theresa and Mac have been actively job hunting with no success thus far, but they aren't giving up and we are sending them all the prayers and support that we can muster. Anne Marie is scared of the big move and all the uncertainty that goes along with it. The economy has most of us scared blind. None of us know what's in store for next month. The stock market has caused great losses for many of us in our retirement plans. I have no idea if my current job will have enough business to sustain the level of work force that we have. I fear that I will be searching for a full time job in the very near future to help support my family. I still haven't decided what I want to be when I grow up, but whatever I do, I need a job with great health insurance because our current plan absolutely sucks. You get the picture. We are here to support each other through the good and the bad, through whatever life has in store. All we can do is listen and offer support and what little guidance and words of wisdow that we have. I just wanted you to know that we hear the pain in your words and we know that you are struggling. Please feel free to vent here, bounce ideas off of us. I know that you hate job searching, but that can be said for every one of us. Please open that door for yourself. Even if you are not actively sending out resumes you never know what you might find. I think that they perfect job for you would involve travel. Maybe something that would send you off to different parts of the US or even around the world, and best of all it would be paid for by the company. Just a thought

Am I the only one that keeps thinking that this time last year we were getting ready to head to Disney for a wonderful DDA meet

Did I get groceries? Yes.

Did I get my DGD's computer and phone fixed. Yes.

Did I get one load of laundry done? Yes.

Am I ready for work tomorrow? Heck no!

I got zero sleep last night so I must hit the hay tonight.

That is the second time in less than a week that I have heard that service at Kona was bad for breakfast! We must have been lucky both mornings we ate there last month.

Bad service and mediocre food is why we won't be back to Artist Point any time in the near future. I am sorry they had a bad time there. It has such potential (and used to live up to that potential). Very sad.

Hopefully they got lots of photos with the characters this morning at CP as well as good service.

And I can't wait to see their Photo Shoot shots. Were they having them done at the Poly?

we were supposed to do the poly and I am still upset that it did not work out.

I'm debating whether I should try to book a character meal while we are at OKW. I was thinking perhaps something for breakfast on Sunday before we head to Vero Beach. The practical side says to save the money, but the WDW loving side says to catch a couple of characters We would have to do a non park meal. Decisions...Decisions

I'm debating whether I should try to book a character meal while we are at OKW. I was thinking perhaps something for breakfast on Sunday before we head to Vero Beach. The practical side says to save the money, but the WDW loving side says to catch a couple of characters We would have to do a non park meal. Decisions...Decisions

I have ham & beans in the crockpot. Usually I make cornbread, but I still do not have my oven. Any suggestions I don't know of anyplace that sells cornbread already made lol

WL & it rained pretty good before the shoot. She said her hair was a mess. I am sure she looked wonderful though!

I actually called my brother and reminded him... He told me to stop it because they all want to go back and now is NOT a good time for them.

Hi friends!!

We went house hunting in NC this weekend. Looked at the suburbs of Raleigh & were very happy with what we saw. So at least I feel more settled about that. We found 2 homes we liked alot but we have alot to digest as we saw 20 homes in 2 days in 2 towns (Cary & Chapel Hill).

We were in CH the day of the Tarheals/Notre Dame game so that was fun to see all the college spirit & sea of light blue shirts.

So things are moving along & I am not stressing (AS MUCH! )

We had a B%$#@ of a trip home on I 95. I got a ticket in VA for passing a slow car. I had been the speed limit & passed this car was going under the speed limit & bang I got nailed! I think I was over the speed limit for 20 seconds....

Then some jerk in a little sports car who was going too fast lost control of his car & had a huge spin out in the middle lane almost hitting us..I slammed on the breaks to keep away from him but we were about a foot away from each other when he spun around.

The traffic to get back into NY was CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! I laughed when our realtor told us they had alot of traffic in CH due to the football game...Hey you don't know traffic until you cross a bridge back into NYC!!!

Well anyway it was a very productive trip.
