Say a prayer or 2 for me today. I feel it's gonna a be a loooooooooooooooooooooong day. ;)

Off to shower and get the girls moving. Good morning DDA!!

There is light at the end of your tunnel, though... :goodvibes Thursday is almost here! :yay:

Becky - I am glad you are continuing your TR! The pictures of the Port of Los Angeles make me a litle homesick for that area. The Wayfarer's Chapel we like to visit is up in the the hills from that area of San Pedro. And as you drive back toward LA from there, the Port just opens up in front of you as you head down the hill. It is quite the site!

Theresa thanks for sharing the pictures of Cassidy, she is a very beautiful young girl!

Amy I never had to deal with the poop issue, hope you do not have to deal with it much longer

Becky great update on your TR. You do sound very down, I hope you can figure things out & find a way to be a happier you again :goodvibes

Tammi hope you enjoy the day off with the kids & I hope you are feeling better.

Deb hope you are feeling better as well!

Stephanie hope today goes quickly for you. Look forward to hearing about your trip!

Mac thanks for the update, can't wait to hear about Mya's wish!

Robyn hope today is not as bad as you fear :wizard:

Vicki relaxing in a hot tub sounds wonderful, hope you & Chuck were able to decide on another trip to Disney :yay:

Elizabeth enjoy dinner tonight with your friend!

Marci were you able to get a plumber in to fix your shower? Hope your weekend went smoothly :wizard:

Hey Jen, did you see the Jonas Brothers are playing at half-time at the Dallas/Seahawks game? Alyssa will be so jealous!

Chanon & Bob did not have very good luck with service yesterday with their breakfast at Kona & dinner at Artist point, but said the service at CP was wonderful this morning!

They had their photo shoot yesterday & she said it went pretty good.

Becky - I am sorry things aren't terrific at your job. I can also understand how any job in this economy is better than no job at all. Trying to relocate and find a new job would be complicated. Maybe just browse around for another job an dsee if you can find anything you really want to apply for. Of course they will want to know why you aren't happy in your current job, and how you word that will be crucial. It always sounds like you are horribly overscheduled. If you are happy that way then that's one thing, but if you feel like you are running every minute of every day maybe you should cut back on the "non-essential" activities. Take a day or two and do NOTHING and see if that gives you a better perspective.

Elizabeth you are on a roll with the advice!! Listen to her Becky and we are always here to grump, groan and bounce things off of.

Good Morning All!

Abi is home sick...I usually let the girls decide whether they stay home or not but she let it slip that the longer she was upright the worse she felt so home she is.

So I decided to stay home with her....she is sleeping now. I may go back to bed (Glynis that Seance book was so the wrong book to start reading last night:scared1: ) and then more resumes and dishes done.

Cassidy has regionals this evening....pass some pixie dust this way that they even advance. That is how bad their scores have been this year.

I forgot....thanks for the comments on Cassidy!!I think she's cute but I am a bit biased.

That is the second time in less than a week that I have heard that service at Kona was bad for breakfast! We must have been lucky both mornings we ate there last month.

Bad service and mediocre food is why we won't be back to Artist Point any time in the near future. I am sorry they had a bad time there. It has such potential (and used to live up to that potential). Very sad. :sad2:

Hopefully they got lots of photos with the characters this morning at CP as well as good service. ;)

And I can't wait to see their Photo Shoot shots. Were they having them done at the Poly?

I hope Abi feels better an the band moves on! :thumbsup2

I booked our Segway Tour this morning! The CM said, "I hope I have something available for you on those two days." It was Kismet because we wanted the 7:45 tour on 12/22 and that is exactly all she had! :yay:

Now, before I finish my lesson plans for tonight, I need to decide if I want ot make a couple more ADRs, if I can get them.

Can anyone tell me about Raglan Road for dinner and Tusker House for lunch?

Well they came and we forgot to take pictures. Rats. Mya was quite shy at first, but then I had her show them her room. That opened the gates of conversation and she was all talkative then. We spoke with John while Paula started asking Mya about her wish. I was surprised she never once mentioned Hannah Montanah but talked about how cool it would be to hang out with Arial and her princess friends. Surprised about the paperwork, I thought I was buying a new home. While we did that Paula and Mya played and talked. She stated that she really enjoy's Arial because she is a Mermaid AND a Princess. The other's are just Princess's. She also thinks it's cool that Arial wants to walk, I think this is her same desire. She does walk, but it is with assitance of braces and she has a staggard gate that is noticable by others.

Well they said they would get back to us with details.

I'm glad that the meeting went well. I hope that they create the most amazing trip for your family.

Most of Junior High, High School, and college I was away somewhere most weekends. I am not able to do that with my previous or current job. Even at my previous job I was away places for periods of times.

I feel I spend most of my time driving all over. I do not mind driving, but it is not an efficient use of my time. I am working in a triangle as my service units this year are more spread out then last year. There is a 35 mile gap between one service unit and all the others.

I am supposed to work 35 hours a week. I work more then that most weeks. I feel I can never accomplish everything I am supposed to.

I have very few friends in PA. But I like this state it is gorgeous in areas. The weather is decent most of the time.

I would love to move back to FL, or the Carolinas, or Georgia. The economy scares me and I truly do not know what I want to do. I hate job searches. I feel lost and I do not know what I want to do with my life.

Sorry to babble on and on. Thanks for listening.

Becky, I think that you will find that a lot of us are a bit lost and many have no idea what they want to do with the rest of their life. Vicki just mentioned her need to soul search, Theresa and Mac have been actively job hunting with no success thus far, but they aren't giving up and we are sending them all the prayers and support that we can muster. Anne Marie is scared of the big move and all the uncertainty that goes along with it. The economy has most of us scared blind. None of us know what's in store for next month. The stock market has caused great losses for many of us in our retirement plans. I have no idea if my current job will have enough business to sustain the level of work force that we have. I fear that I will be searching for a full time job in the very near future to help support my family. I still haven't decided what I want to be when I grow up, but whatever I do, I need a job with great health insurance because our current plan absolutely sucks. You get the picture. We are here to support each other through the good and the bad, through whatever life has in store. All we can do is listen and offer support and what little guidance and words of wisdow that we have. I just wanted you to know that we hear the pain in your words and we know that you are struggling. Please feel free to vent here, bounce ideas off of us. I know that you hate job searching, but that can be said for every one of us. Please open that door for yourself. Even if you are not actively sending out resumes you never know what you might find. I think that they perfect job for you would involve travel. Maybe something that would send you off to different parts of the US or even around the world, and best of all it would be paid for by the company. Just a thought

And I can't wait to see their Photo Shoot shots. Were they having them done at the Poly?

WL & it rained pretty good before the shoot. She said her hair was a mess. I am sure she looked wonderful though!
