Hi there, Mac!!

I think it would be perfect for the four of you (and all 8 of your bare feet

) to get to see Ariel, and any other princesses up close and personal. Don't forget to come on back and let us know what happens?
Aidan looks so big! How are the cochlear implants working out? And how about the job front for you? I often think about you, especially when I am teaching my student with implants.
Yea he is a nice chunk. Got weighed last week during our first Emergency Room visit. I can't say how thankful I have been that it was a full year before we had to do something like that. He weighed in at 26.2lbs. Basically we have had problems with his G-Button (what he feeds through) forming a micro hole on the inside and releasing the water and then falling out. The first seven times it was during the day, (Chik Fil A, Store, Car and such) and we have an extra. We only have like 30 minutes to get it in before he starts to close up again. Well this time it fell out while he slept, so we woke up at 5:30 to find it laying on his stomach without a clue to when it fell out. All we knew is that it wasn't going back in and I was expecting an emergency surgery. Well after five hours, a few different sizes of catheter, we got it back in. No surgery, just a lot of fussing. Say the least we switched units, because no one could tell us why we was breaking them so frequently.
Ears are working wonderfully and he is testing out at almost one year of age, only having them for 5/2 months active. It truly is amazing and he has down a few vowel and consenant sounds and recognizes even more. This last week he started clapping and throwing a ball. He is catching up fast.
Mya is just amazing with her new legs. She wiggles her twos, jumps off the ground and loves racing daddy all the time. These are things she could never have done with such stiff legs. We are actually having to learn how to use some new muscles, she never knew she had down there. She is doing well in Kindergarten and making many friends. Even a few boys
Me on the other hand still unemployed

Love this economy, I'm now looking at going back into retail until something comes along. Hopefully I will be interviewing for a Job in Denver come January, but I need to find something else till then.
Sorry long winded but I think that covers it. I will give a recap of her wish tomorrow and what they do and say. On the phone they stated how special they make it from the beginning I was ready to cry then. It really is going to be special and I'm just so excited for her. This girl gave up almost a year of her life with us focusing so much on Aidan's health and hospital stay. I'm glad she will be getting some much deserved attention and pampering.
