Hmm. I don't like driving all that much. But it has to be better than the drive from TX to KS, so that's a point in your favor! :rotfl2:
Of course it will be better. Vicki will be with you! :thumbsup2

I hope DS had a fun time, and that you were able to stop worrying and sleep.

I am glad you got treated yesterday. Is it a sinus infection as you thought? I am also glad you have the time to rest today. Do you have to work tomorrow?

Take care. Now we have to find a Saturday night to head to Kybecca!
Yes, but this is the strangest sinus infection I've ever had. No nasal congestion with it. Usually my face feels like it needs to explode. This one must be in deeper cavities. No, I don't have to work tomorrow, but I was hoping for a fun day at maybe Snead's or something. I'm getting tired of Belvedere. They are way overpriced.

I'm not sure when I'll have another free Saturday night, with these weekend swappings we'll be doing. Would a Friday night work for you?

Stephanie - welcome home! I can't wait to hear how the trip was!

Vicki - I'm glad MIL is home. Hopefully the doctors will monitor her closely now.

Theresa - love the pictures. Looks like everyone was having fun!

Friday nights are perfect for me. I am done teaching at 5:00 or 5:30 and usually head up there anyway! Let me know. :goodvibes

As I was coming back from the bank this morning I saw a gas station (the 7-11 near Giant and you Tammi) with regular gas for $2.99!
It was 2.99 at WaWa too. I hopes it's even lower today. I need to fill up.

Ok, I will. When the kids are gone I usually like to just crash at home on a Friday, mainly because I never know what traffic will be like. But for you I'll make an exception! ;) :yay:

I was reading on another thread () about converting a 1-day base ticket in a package to an AP at check-in. There was quite a discussion going on and I don't intend to jump into the middle of it. Instead I came back here where someone knows all the answers to the major questions inthe universe! ;)

Is that really possible??

Sounds like me. He said it's 'complications from allergies', which I knew. I go through this EVERY October. He gave me amoxicillian, prednisone and a cough medicine. They, whoever THEY are, say that sinus infections will clear up on their own, but I never have the patience to wait for that to happen. I like the assistance of DRUGS! And you don't have the time, so if I were you I'd get to the doctor.

I'll call to get an appointment in the morning. I actually called this morning, but they are closed which I expected :sad2:

I have no nasal congestion either, really my nose has run at all :confused3 It's all in my chest. I agree with it being worse in the morning, but it's pretty bad in the evening too, probably because I'm out in the night air heading home from work. The extreme coughing is exhausting. Thankfully the really bad coughing is only in the morning and evenings.

I always thought you could, as long as it hadn't been used yet. You just the difference, AP price minus the base ticket price. Are they saying that you can't?

Of course it is possible. We have done it twice! Once at Epcot and once at MK. You can not have it done at the resort, it has to be at the parks (or probably DTD, never tried that). I have read that it screws up dining credits if the CM doesn't do it properly, but we haven't had a problem. :)

The discussion that was being held was whether or not it had to be a hopper in order to upgrade. I honestly didn't know whether or not that was the case so I came here to ask! :thumbsup2

Bob and I have decided to book the Segway Tour for our December trip. It will "replace" the Wanyama Safari I had to cancel. We haven't decided whether to try for the 7:45 one or the 8:30 one because sunrise is at 7:15 the week we are at WDW. Has anyone on here done a winter Segway Tour really early? I know you are in Innoventions for an hour so it may not be an issue. Being up and ready to go is not an issue for us either. :rolleyes1

Also... don't try to call WDW this morning. Their entire computer system is down and even the resorts don't have access! The CM at Dining I just spoke to said she pities the poor tech guy who is feverishly trying to fix it!

No, it does not. When I booked our package at WL for free dining in 2007 the ticket was a one day base ticket - no hopping. Maybe they are confused about the water parks thing? If you have a base ticket with water parks you MUST upgrade to the AP with water parks. Hopping on the base ticket doesn't matter.

Elin - The Segway tour sounds like a wonderful way to spend the morning! DS is still too young (and not heavy enough) to do a Segway so I don't have any thoughts on timing.
Sadly I don't have anything to call WDW about today. I guess that's a good thing though!

Elin - When Kristine, Kate and I did the Segway, we booked the earliest tour, so when you are finishing up it is still early enough for the crowds not to be getting heavy. Therefore, no crashing worries. But in December you may not have that to consider. We went in May.
