Real quick pop in but I had to share....

Eric and the boys' grandma talked on the way home today. Her thoughts...why aren't there more rides like at Hershey Park? (you would have known that had you 1) asked me or 2) actually did research. Should have waited til the boys were older~ say 5 and 6. Ty was fine the first 3 days and then was a tired, cranky, whining mess~ why, no naps or rest time!! Do you know why they went, because Molly went and Ty told Grandma that he should go to. Molly went to WDW so Ty should go to WDW. Molly has a big kid bike so Ty got a big kid bike. Molly has a Wii so Ty is getting a Wii for Christmas.

Oh, and the funniest, Jake got kicked out of Turtle Talk. He kicked the lady in front of him and bit the guy next to him. He's 2!!

Be back later. Lucy is up from her nap.
Doesn't sound like a fun vacation. :sad2:

:rotfl2:

So funny!!!!!!

Hey Anne Marie! I forgot to tell you - Bob and I were walking the path from the HRH to Universal and this woman was behind us walking - I swear it sounded just like you! I must have turned around 3 times before finally asking if she was from Long Island and she was shocked and said yes how did I know - and I mentioned a friend from your town and she said she was from Wantagh!

I just got off the phone with the guidance counselor. We have a meeting on 10/21. Sh said they will discuss whether or not he still needs modifications. Hello? He STILL HAS ADD! Yes, we medicate him to minimize he issues but he still qualifies for services because of his diagnosis! So I am not very happy about that. She says ALL 7th graders have the problem of not turning in completed work. :sad2:

I copied Kristine's cake. It was divine. My cake was a 10" white cake, strawberries & custard filling, WHIPPED CREAM frosting, garnished with white chocolate shavings and fresh strawberries. I can't stand buttercream frosting, so that was a really important detail. I hear the chocolate marble cakes are pretty good if he likes chocolate. I think I have the direct line for Linda at the GF bakery at home if you need it.
3rd graders are just as bad for missed homework too.

Thanks for the info on the cake. I doubt Nicholas would want strawberries in his cake, but the whipped cream frosting is good info. I need to decide what kind of decoration to have it done in. Maybe I'll go with the marble. Or maybe I'll just copy your whole idea. It will be for all 9 of us, not just him. And whatever I get, he will scrape the frosting off, eat a few bites of the cake and that will be that. He is NOT a big sweet eater. He doesn't come by that naturally!

Chanon,
I started looking at your wedding pictures...so beautiful!!! I love that you can add names & change the colors...wow!!

I like the ones of you & Bob walking hand in hand down the path...very nice!

great pictures Chanon....

how did VWL work out overall?

we have taken a ton of VIP tours...and Chris still by far has been the best!

It was good! Like I said, I failed to tell Bob about towel service. We had a king handicap room - so no tub and he used some towels to keep the water "in". :confused3 We "borrowed" some from the maids cart though.

They were doing work on the second floor. It was totally roped off and enclosed.

I need to get my kiddos in the shower so I can sit and look at wedding pictures.

Sorry Chanon.......but as opposed to his "Old Wife"? :rotfl2: Really, very sweet.

I had NO CLUE on what to say - and Jason picked out everything for me. (Jason was the very nice guy who took the order for the stateroom decorations.) ;)

...and one more very important observation!

10. Never go horseback riding and jet skis two days in a row. I swear I bruised my tailbone.

Jeff S.

He was pretty good....young enthusiastic....he'd be perfect for young kids....he is very much into not spoiling the disney magic.

This was my favorite guy Raymond....he knew the most people and was able to get us on almost everything. He maximized the time the best.

Jonathan's favorite...Dani....he thought she was "hot" She was very sweet.

Kim from Sea World

and finally, as Chanon mentioned my all time favorite...Chris from Universal. Sad to say, but Universal VIP tours put the WDW ones to shame!

Who was your tour guide the day we met?

Bill discovered the maid's closet......he supplied 6 rooms on our floor who were short on various stuff....one guy wanted to tip him :lmao:

Chanon - the pictures are beautiful! You were beautiful, the flowers, the cake, Bob, everything looked just perfect!
