YES! He makes all of his puppets. I saw a documentary that he did of the making of them. It's amazing.

It was so cool! He did practically EVERY step!

No jitters but the crap hit the fan tonight. I told Bob's parents the wrong amount on the liquor cost. Given that Mom is helping out (alot) with the wedding cost, that didn't go over well. It ended up being something along the lines of I thought we talked about it and I said "you must have forgot". That put her over the edge - wrong words to say...should have been "let's fix it"...but that escalated into "why doesn't your father help out with money" and "i don't feel wanted" and "I'm leaving, you don't need me here" and of course the ever famous "what will they think". I hate the "what will they think" because "they" don't even know about this converation.

Things are fine now. We are watching Bones together. Well, on opposite sides of the couch. But that's better than yelling at each other trying to find out why she's really mad. (She doesn't feel wanted. I've suggested everything you guys have mentioned and more.) I'm really trying and I know I'm her "baby". I'm trying. Three days.

Hang in there.... there's lots of emotion in your house I'm sure. Just a couple more days!

I need a vacation. Can I stow away with either Stephanie or Deb? Pretty please? I have 2 men in my life giving me grief, plus day to day crap. This weekend is not going to be relaxing at all. Three bday parties! One Sat and Sun. for Alyssa, one Sun. for Nicholas. Plus a football game in there on Saturday. Friday night we will go shopping for gifts. I have to bring drinks for the game on Saturday so I'll also have to pick up bunches of Gatorade. I wanted to get the kids' hair cut and go to the pumpkin patch, but that might not happen.

How do you like the Market Day stuff? What do you get? I've never gotten anything. It seems too expensive, IMO.

I LOVE the "Chocolate Chip Puddin' Cakes", which are terrible for you. We used to get them when I was in Junior High, and I swear to you I looked up the closest school I could order from just to get them recently!

It's pouring here. This is day 2 of heavy rain. I think we may still have 2 more to go That accompanied by the cooler weather is making for some dark and dreary days. We got the kids off to school for picture day. I don't know why I care as I don't buy the pictures anyway. They are always horrible. I need to return yet more pants for Hunter. We were closer this time so maybe today will be the charm My Mother got a Kohl's 30% off coupon so I may grab that and check Kohl's out. I need WW muffins too. I need to drop a couple of lbs before our trip. More than a couple of lbs is just unrealistic.

It's rained the past few days here and at night which absolutely drives me batty. I can't sleep with all that noise.

Good luck with the shopping. I just got on the elliptical for the first time in a long time last night. I didn't last but 9 minutes before my shoulder started really bothering me. That could have been due to the extremely heavy bags of expired condiments/food out of my fridge/pantry that I took to the trash can last night. I'll get back on it tonight. I also bought some WW cheese to snack on at work. I've been constantly hungry the past month or so and I've gained 4 or 5 pounds which need to come back off so I can get to the 10 I still need to lose.


We have soccer tonight and since Randy has been working so late, I might not get to more de-cluttering but I am making progress. It's amazing how much crap I've accumulated in 10 years in the house. The local Christian help center is having a garage sale in a week or two, so that's been good motivation as well.

Yay for quiet! I hope the boys have a good time at WDW. The grown ups probably won't get along because they did a horrible job of planning. I hope they learn their lesson!



Wrapping requires tape and scissors, which DS has usually snatched up and hidden somewhere. Bags are the way to go!

Marci - Well, I enjoyed yesterday. Starting today DH is only allowed clear liquids so he will be grouchy. DS will still have to eat so I'll have to figure that out. Tomorrow we'll all be up at the same time trying to get out the door, and by tomorrow DH will be SUPER grouchy. We have to get DS to school and then be at the Dr's office by 8:45 AM. The office is way off in Irving somewhere. I imagine there will be lots of shouting because I HATE to drive with DH in the car. Of course there will be tons of traffic, in an area I am completely unfamiliar with, and he will be all snarly. And he is usually worse after the procedure than he is before.
I wish there was some sort of garage sale or something coming up! It would be great to just drop off all this stuff somewhere close! I guess it will go to Goodwill.

I think they'll come back with the attitude that it is the biggest waste of money and vow never to go back.

I hope today and tomorrow aren't as bad as you fear. But everything you describe I can just see Eric and I doing the same exact things.

Those are good too!! I have a box in my freezer, thankfully they are in the basement freezer or they'd be gone in no time. I try to only use them when I need something quick and tasty.

Elizabeth and Marci, Joe is very excited about getting together Saturday. He mentioned there were some places close to him that had patios if the weather was nice. He said he will leave around 6pm Saturday night for his dinner. He said he felt bad that he was leaving Emma and I and to see about making plans with you all so I wouldn't be sitting at his house!!

I suppose I should put my shoes on and go buy some clear liquids. DH can have broth and Jello and that sort of thing, but nothing red, orange, or purple. So I guess he gets lime Jello? Or lemon? Yum.

Robyn - I am excited to meet all of you and to see Marci! Right now we are haivng great weather, so hopefully it will last! I can remember years past when it POURED the day of Race for the Cure, and I can also remember years where it was so cold at the AIDS walk that I thought my ears were going to break off. The 2 events are typically a week or 2 apart. One year it stormed the night before the AIDS walk and blew all of the porta-potties into the street. Luckily I wasn't one of the committee who had to go pick them up!
So Joe is coming to brunch and the Arboretum, then skipping out to go to his deal before we go to dinner? Do I have that right?

Marci - Joe lives west of Oak Lawn instead of east. But still not far at all!
