Is it wrong that I giggle at my cat?? She has 2 enlarged mammary "pouches", hopefully just a reaction from anesthesia and treatments. But Cassidy last night said..."Pearl has big "girls" like the rest of us" I swear to heaven it was all I could do not to bust out laughing!!

I should be in bed, it's been a long day. I can say that I actually got a lot accomplished though. Birth Certifcates are in hand, the house is partially cleaned including Colby's room which was a total mess thanks to my nephew. We had a nice family dinner and little party for Nick. He said that he had a good day and thanks you all for his birthday wishes. After everyone left Chris and I put up the rest of the coat racks in the entry. I ordered them a month ago and they finally came. I'm happy to report that our entry is now finished I also started to pull together things that we need for the trip. I think the toiletries are in order as well as the sundries. I even organized a shelf in the bathroom closet since I was making sure that I had everything Hopefully tomorrow will bring more cleaning progress. I've been so lazy lately. now I need things to be in order and to stay in order for the next month.

Chanon I'd be interested to hear how the mosquitos and other biting bugs are while you are there. I'm debating whether or not to take insect repellent. I'm also debating taking beach towels.

I HAD A FABULOUS TIME!!

I love you all dearly but 15 minutes in to our time and we were completing each other's sentences. It was like finding a piece of my heart that I didn't know was missing.

That is so sweet.

My grandmother died this morning very peacefully. We will be headed to Huntsville, AL on Thursday for visitation and funeral on Friday. Thanks for all your prayers. I know she is in a better place and that she and my grandfather were ecstatic to finally be back together. They had been married for 55 years when he died 11 years ago, and she missed him terribly.

She and my grandfather were the ones who got me hooked on Disney. They took my brother and me every year and we camped at FW. She left me money to pay for our December trip because she knew how much the kids love WDW. It will be a special time for us to remember her and my grandfather.

I am so very sorry Denise. What a wonderful way to honor the ones who introduced you to Disney.

Glynis and her family can use all the spare pixie dust and prayers we have. Her mom's spells have been diagnosed through an angiogram this morning. It is not good. She has been sent home to live her last few months out. The valve they thought was failing is actually calcified, along with most of the other valves and arteries in her heart.

On a good note, I have my suitcase out. I'm taking my old one as my red Disney one, the wheels came off. This is an economy trip, so no new luggage for me. I do not think I'm going to take any pins to trade. We are doing the DeluxeDDP, so my food budget is set. No matching t shirts. No postcards. No commando touring plans. Probably very few late nights. Definetly no park opening to fireworks days. (will someone give Elizabeth mouth-to-mouth as you all know she's reading!) I figure I'll take my ears and then leave them in my owners locker.

I don't want to take my laptop. I'm hoping all I'll need is my IPhone. We really need to RELAX. We need to return refreshed. This is my friend's first vacation in 4 years. I don't want her to even be tempted by a computer where she could log in to work... I just need to remember my little AC adapter so I can plug my phone into the wall outlet. The only shoes I'm taking are Crocs.

I can do this. I can do this. Okay DDA, tell me I'll be okay!!!!!

HELP! I need someone to tell me how to handle this. I also need to grow a pair...

Remember I told you that I asked for more money to handle that one class on my own? Well, the director calls tonight to tell me that instead of giving me more money, they have decided to have one of the mothers in the class help me. That way, I supposedly won't be doing more work. I think I still will, because 1) she doesn't know anything about the program, 2) she'll have a 2-year old of her own with her, and 3) she's having another baby in February. Can I say at this point that I just don't even want to do the class? I kind of left it sounding like I would do the class, but the more I think about it the more upset I become. It is just so disrespectful that they asked this person to do it without even asking me first. But I don't want to make this person feel like I don't want to work with her, and I don't want to shirk my responsibilities. Do I just suck it up until the end of May and then tell them I won't be back next year? But I do need to work, and I don't know where else to even look. I just don't know what to do.

Sorry to vent and whine, but if anyone has any suggestions for me, I'd gladly take them.

Well, now it is even later because I went to eat dinner after I replied! I think you can wait until tomorrow. If you feel like going into the particulars would help you, then tell her you feel like they are being disrespectful and inconsiderate. Otherwise, just tell her you aren't interested and leave it at that. Good luck!

You can always tell her you have talked with your husband and you both feel like the time required for the money being offered isn't worth it. That time would be better spent at home.

It can, just not as cute! If you go to..... I don't know, the top tab that says "boxes" or something...? To the upper right of your "Flair" section, you can select something about moving to "Wall Tab". It's not NEARLY as cute as it is on the 'bulletin board', but it's still on the front. See mine for an example if you'd like... basically you select one to "display", and then people can scroll through the rest. Again, not at all the same.... but something...?

I think pretty much everyone hates "New Facebook" , but then again everyone has hated it every time it's changed!

I love Psych and Monk as well. Have you seen the Mentalist yet? It is a new series. Not as funny as Psych but the same premise of someone who uses his powers of observation to solve crimes.

We haven't watched it, but this made me smile. Kyle is so irritated by The Mentalist's existence. He thinks (probably accurately) that people will start raving about what a great concept it is, even though it's been around in Psych for years and nobody's noticed. Why this is his problem, I have no idea, but it's hilarious watching him whine about it!

ugh--long! hoping for a better day wednesday!! no school tomorrow!

Has anyone seen the Speed Racer movie? Emma wanted me to watch it with her tonight. After 5 minutes I was literally . It's all green screened and I couldn't keep watching it. I felt so bad, she really wanted me to watch it with her. She got to stay up late tonight since school is closed tomorrow.

You CAN! It will be wonderful! I agree with your not taking a laptop.... as much as I enjoy reading along with others' trips I'm too selfish! Using the internet while at WDW keeps me too "connected" with the outside world, which just isn't the same!

I agree that the non bulletin board is definitely not as cute.

Our county is closed. We wouldn't have kept her out if it was open though. I know when Eric and I were in school it was open for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Back then the teachers were not allowed to give tests of any kind but they did and Eric always had to skip them and then make them up, which is ridiculous. Nowadays they couldn't get away with that.
