Glynis and her family can use all the spare pixie dust and prayers we have. Her mom's spells have been diagnosed through an angiogram this morning. It is not good. She has been sent home to live her last few months out. The valve they thought was failing is actually calcified, along with most of the other valves and arteries in her heart.

ER use to be a favorite of mine as well, but like some of you I lost interest when the characters were changing.

Which reminds me of an old one I loved to watch, Knots Landing I never did get into Dallas, but I was glued to the tv every week with this one!

We had a heck of a lightning storm come through about an hour ago & it is still raining. No work for Gary today, so much for my quiet time at home. Oh well I guess the kitchen will get that much closer to being done. I knew it would take a while, but I have to be honest & say that I am getting really stressed over it.

My back has been feeling much better till this morning. I stepped on Mia's tail(she is black & it was dark)& when she moved it made me slip. Not good, I feel like such a whiner

When Chuck & I were dating, we watched Falcon's Crest every Friday night. We never really got into Dallas either.

Kyle and I LOVE Psych, and nobody we know has even heard of it!

I love Psych and Monk as well. Have you seen the Mentalist yet? It is a new series. Not as funny as Psych but the same premise of someone who uses his powers of observation to solve crimes.

HELP! I need someone to tell me how to handle this. I also need to grow a pair...

Remember I told you that I asked for more money to handle that one class on my own? Well, the director calls tonight to tell me that instead of giving me more money, they have decided to have one of the mothers in the class help me. That way, I supposedly won't be doing more work. I think I still will, because 1) she doesn't know anything about the program, 2) she'll have a 2-year old of her own with her, and 3) she's having another baby in February. Can I say at this point that I just don't even want to do the class? I kind of left it sounding like I would do the class, but the more I think about it the more upset I become. It is just so disrespectful that they asked this person to do it without even asking me first. But I don't want to make this person feel like I don't want to work with her, and I don't want to shirk my responsibilities. Do I just suck it up until the end of May and then tell them I won't be back next year? But I do need to work, and I don't know where else to even look. I just don't know what to do.

Sorry to vent and whine, but if anyone has any suggestions for me, I'd gladly take them.

Beth, I so sorry they took advantage of you. Because I think that is what they did. At least they should have asked for your input as to if you had an idea of who could help you. Look for something in the same field but maybe doing more with the financial part of it. If you like computers, maybe that would be the way to go. I actually like the billing aspect because there is no way I could teach. The little kids are so sweet, but I gotta give kudos to those who do teach. I am more the bulldog who needs to get the parents to pay their bills. Do they need to get ideas for fundraisers?
