so sorry to hear that!Prayers requested for my best friend Jan and her family. Her father died. He has been in and out of the hospital for the last year or so. He was in his late 80's I think. It is one of those situations where it is a blessing for him but a terrible loss for my best friend.
Denise so happy to hear you are enjoying your job![]()
Tammi great to hear that all is well with Alyssa!
Vicki prayers for your friend![]()
Jennifer hope you all enjoy your evening at the Pier!
Question, do you prefer a gas or electric stove? We have gas right now, but are thinking about buying a electric one. There is a black one at Lowes marked down to $225 & I am just not sure what to do.

I've never had gas, but I hear they are much better to cook with. You can adjust the flame to exactly what you want. I have a glass cooktop electric stove. I don't think I would ever go back to the electric stoves that have the elements.Question, do you prefer a gas or electric stove? We have gas right now, but are thinking about buying a electric one. Eric picked Emma up from school and had a talk with Emma's teacher. The teacher was appalled that Emma got in trouble and said that there was no note of it in the sub's notes from the day. He then had a talk with the principal and she agreed that something was not right and said that she will pull Emma and the sub into a meeting tomorrow, at different times, and go from there and get back to us. I was talking with another mom at scouts tonight and she mentioned that her daughter has come home and complained about the same sub numerous times so I am hopeful that something will be done. I don't know who the sub is as she is new to the school. I don't think it would have bothered Eric and I so much if every teacher at the school didn't constantly tell us how wonderful a student Emma is. So I know that Emma, while she's far from perfect, is not going to act up at school.
We have always had electric but with the first stove we had, it was gas. The thing I liked about it was you could turn it all the way down and simmer all day. With electric, it is harder to control.
We have an electric in the house and a gas in the camper. I prefer electric personally. It is easier for me to get the temperature the way I want it.
Much, much easier to clean the glass top. This is what the electric stove has, why would you not use this type again?
There is a glass top one at Lowes marked down to $500, but that is more that what I want to spend at the moment(I am trying to be cheap lol).
