The older boys had their annual check up today. They are both in excellent shape. He isn't concerned about weight or growth for either boy. They were happy that they didn't need any shots today

I think I'm actually feeling worse now. I found someone to work for me tonight as I'm pretty sure the customers don't want me hacking or sneezing on their food. Hopefully I will feel better by tomorrow. I plan on taking a nap pretty soon.

I got an e-mail that I can order a personalized yard sign from the middle school for the bargain price of $40! Do people honestly have THAT much pride/spirit in the MIDDLE SCHOOL? We don't have a yard, so I am not going to be ordering a sign.

Silly me, there was no ballet.

I ended up having an impromptu playdate for my friend and her four kiddos, since they were still without power (it was restored for them this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.).

Jen called...it could be a week before her area's power is restored. Her mom has power, but there is a tree on their house! She knows they are welcome to hang out at my house!

My mom is also without power up in Huron. The Ohio Governor has declared a State of Emergency. Who could have ever thought a hurricane could affect Ohio?!!

So...just had to share something so you guys can laugh a little.
This is Bob's cat, Duke. I opened the windows a little during the wind storm since I had the AC off...

...and before we knew it...Duke was chattering away at the leaves and wind in the front yard.

Oh yea...and we got a box today!

Yes they do! I'm going to have to make sure I give our mail lady an extremely large present at Christmas time. I'm also going to need a very large tote to put everything in and just label it "Holidays"...

Vicki, I love Chuck too! 4 trips!!! I think the December one should be Mousefest. I have a really good feeling that Terry and I will be back for 2009!!!!

Are we going to be able to catch up with any of you December DDA on December 5th??

A trip in the future would be wonderful. Not as good as having you here permanently, but I'll take what I can get!
