DDA Chapter 11

sorry i have not been on but hi. my news here is i have to take watty to get tested for exercise induced collapse. it is a muscle disease that is new and they are now testing for. his litter mates that have been tested are either carriers or they tested negative. this afternoon i will take him to the vet to get a blood test done and then they will send it out and it will take 20 days for results to come back. so on with the show. i have pictures to show y'all:

Karen, those pictures are absolutely precious! :goodvibes I hope the test results come back negative!

The problem here is that we haven't had considerable rain in months. The ground is so hard that the water won't be able to sink in, so it will run off quickly and easily. This will cause flooding.

:wizard: I hope you all are able to avoid too much damage!

 That's not good. We have had a very wet summer. So wet in fact that the leaves are already changing on many trees. A heavy rain may knock a lot of leaves off leaving things bare for foliage season. We are already expecting a weird season as many people book a year in advance and if they did so they will be too late to see the colors anyway.

Again, with the early fall! We're still bone dry, 90+ degrees and humid. I'm so tired of it! :headache: :rotfl:

So here is a photo of the shirt and sweatshirt I made for Hunter's costume

I think it looks pretty realistic. Of course having the son that weighs nothing be the lifeguard should put a comedic spin on it :rotfl:

It definitely looks realistic! I can't wait to see pictures of the whole group!

they are all great but I had to say I love the bib.

Jennifer - love the pictures of the girls. They are so sweet!

I got an RSVP back today with a hidden mickey on it! :teeth: Some people really know me. ;)

What fun! :)

I had my monthly doctor's appointment this morning, and things are really good! My blood pressure is finally excellent, and Peanut's heartbeat was perfect. I'm measuring where I should, and things are right where they should be! I had my blood drawn for a gestational diabetes test (I can't drink the glucose liquid because of my bypass), but they don't think there will be any problems, since I didn't have any with my other pregnancies when I was significantly overweight, and since I've lost all the weight, that is a point in my favor.

I was able to schedule my c-section for December 4th, so unless Peanut decides to come early, that will be his birthday! I'm so excited to have an actual "deadline!" Now, I just have to get everything ready!

Now, I'm off to make tuna noodle casserole. I am craving comfort food, and that sounds good to me!

I'm glad to hear all is well, and that you have a date! :yay:

So are any of you onboard the weight loss bandwagon? I've been doing well, but I so want some sweets or a soda :rolleyes1 I'm hoping to get my intake under control this week then add exercise next week. Exercise is my nemisis though so that will be tougher than eating properly.

Don't I wish! :sad2:

Hi! I am at work and it's my 3rd of 3 in a row. We leave for MS at noon Friday (today). Hopefully I will nap in the car. My grandmother isn't doing well, so I am glad we are going. I work next Mon, Tues, Wed and class on Friday. I will keep you posted.

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. Please stay safe, and check in when you can!

:dance3: :dance3: Today is Mo's first day of school. You have no idea how excited she is but more importantly how excited I am!!!!:rotfl: I am looking forward to 2 hours of peace in the afternoon. :dance3: :dance3:

I hope she has a great day! :goodvibes

A little better. Not 100 percent yet! I think if this humidity gets out of here, my sinuses will have a chance to clear up!

I hear you! I hope you're feeling better soon!

Did you find him standing in the closet, trying to decide what to wear? ;)

Nah. He wandered out shortly after I posted. Minus his shirt, because I never got around to putting his clean ones in his room. The clean ones are still in the dining room where I sort/hang/fold the stuff I take out of the dryer. :rolleyes1 I need to go look and see what shirts are in his closet, because he SHOULD still have ones that fit in there. 2 of the ones I had in the laundry are brand new.

Jennifer - Cute pics of the girls!! :goodvibes

Back at home, smiling at their Daddy :cloud9:

Deb, I have pictures of the girls in their Pooh outfits as soon as I get to the September pictures! They're still pretty big (I'm sorry the girls are apparently still small, despite looking huge to us! :guilty: ) but they look adorable -- especially the hats! I am hoping that since we're traveling in early Spring, we might get use 2 seasons out of them - again, especially the hats! :rotfl:

We have been very busy the last few days! Dinner with friends, first trip to the Zoo, the long trek to the nearest Disney store (), etc.

I hope you all are doing well! I hope to catch up soon, especially considering I don't feel like catching up on all I have put off around the house! :teeth:

That are so cute   I love the one where they're smiling at Daddy. That almost makes me want another one...almost;)

It sounds like a few people will be suffering...I mean dieting...with me come Monday :thumbsup2 If enough of us do this we might be able to stick to it. I've decided to do the WW plan, but with my ever changing schedule I'm just doing the materials at home with no meetings. I liked the accountability of the meetings, but need to attend the same meeting for the accountability to work. Since I can't do that I will just bore all of you with the diet woes. If I'm not mentioning it, it probably means someone should call me out on it.

Jennifer love the pictures, your girls are growing so much! What little sweethearts

I need to go back to watching my portions & cutting out the constant snacking. So I guess it is back to my lean cuisine's & 100 calorie snacks :sad2:

Jennifer,

I'm eating a tuna salad sandwich on whole wheat pita, with lettuce, tomato and swiss, baked Lays, and a Cottage Double, with a bottle of water. :)

It must be a tuna salad day because that's what I'm having too - tuna salad on whole wheat with a bottle of water.

Mo, hope you had fun at school today!

Great pictures, Jen! They look so cute.

We are leaving shortly. I haven't slept in over 28 hours and am dying at the moment. Hopefully, I'll get to sleep in the car. It's an 8 hour drive, so we'll get there late tonight and come home Sunday. Quick trip but needed.

I'm having homemade soup (chicken base with whole grain rice and carrots) and a ww bagel with laughing cow garlic herb cheese spread. To drink is sugar free kool aid :thumbsup2

Isn't that fun? They had a onesie with the same 'font' that said (on the butt) "Poop on Michigan" :rotfl:

Thanks, I think so!

Ok, gotta run! I'll post more later! Have a wonderful Friday, everyone!

My cousin had a bib for her girls that said I spit up on Aggies. I love the POOP one

Have a safe trip Denise, hope you get some sleep on the way :wizard:

Safe travels, Denise! :wizard:

Momboss took Princess and me to lunch after "Meet the Teacher". I had a cheeseburger, fries, and a diet Coke. ;) Guess I won't be losing weight, huh?
