Wow. I'm speechless. I can't begin to thank you for all the wonderful notes about my Dad. They moved him to another hospital about an hour ago. One with better cardiac care. They are discussing either a pacemaker or defibulator. I'm not happy with either choice. I'm not liking surgery on a 93 year old man. Plus, my FIL died while having a pacemaker put in. Scares me. I know it is only a 5% chance of something going wrong, but when you have already had someone die because they were one of the 5%, it's just really scary.
Currently they are running more tests to figure out which device they want to implant. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again from the bottom of my very grateful heart![]()

Ill keep your dad in my prayers--is he at a hospital around this area? Let me know if you need anythign!
Absolutely!!I need another round of prayers and Pixie Dust. Just before we lost power today I got a phone call from my dad. He is in Nashville at a square dance weekend, his "friend" is with him. He got up this morning and passed out, they took him to the hospital and they found he has a "sick sinus" and will be having a pace maker put in today.
I talked with his nurse and she assures me he will be fine, but will not be able to lift anything or drive for a while. He will be able to travel in a few days and his friend will be able to drive.
I hate that I can't be there with him, but it is absolutly impossible.
