Loved all the first day of school pictures, and the football ones too. All the kids looked great!
We are officially in panic mode her on the coast, the latest projected path of Gustav has it pretty much following the same path as Katrina and making landfall Monday evening or Tuesday morning. They predict it will strenghten to a cat. 3 by the time it makes landfall.
People are out stocking up on supplies and gasing up their cars, I'm just sick to my stomach.

I know it's the chance you take when you live where I do, but this one has all the heartache from Katrina flooding back.
I also get angry when I watch the news and they talk about what a tragedy Katrina was to New Orleans. Not that what happened in New Orleans wasn't horrible, but the storm actually hit Mississippi and destroyed the coast. Hundreds of people were killed and thousands of homes were completely destroyed. New Orleans flooded because the levies broke after the storm.
As soon as we could get away after the storm we spent the weekend in Panama City Beach, the girl at the desk asked me if the storm affected Mississippi much.
Sorry about the rant . . . .
