The party for Merrie went great! She was surprised and happy. She loved the scrapbook I finished for her (just has her photo Christmas cards -- one per page). We were super busy with soccer and baseball on Saturday and a chamber auction, and Andrew was sick. A viral thing has been going through the extended family and he was sick Saturday. I don't think he felt very good yesterday, but he did eat some. I'm just hoping Jake doesn't get it now.

The boys start school today, and we have soccer practice tonight. I hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning. I woke up to several swollen glands in my neck, yet I feel fine Now I can wonder if something is brewing. Will glands swell for allergies Anyway I'd better get ghings done today in case I end up not feeling well later in the week. I think Colby's curtains etc are at the post office so I will be heading there soon. Maybe I'll actually have his room together before school starts tomorrow. That was my goal. I would like to start off his school routine and be able to keep it steady for him. I have no idea if simple things like curtains would disturb a routine, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. I'm working at 4 today in hopes of being home in time to tuck the boys in and make sure that all is set for tomorrow morning. I took tomorrow off as I know that I'll have lots of paperwork to complete in triplicate and the kids will be full of stories about friends and new experiences

Good morning everyone!

I joined about a year ago so that I could see my nephew's pictures. He is an amateur photographer and takes some beautiful pics. He loads them on Facebook. My girls were always gushing over them. I only logged in about once a week to see if he or my girls had added any pictures. Some of the girls in my troops that I was a leader for added me quite some time ago as well so I've been able to keep up with their escapades.

Just recently, I've had a bunch of the counselors from Girl Scout camp join. I've found a couple of high school friends as well as college buddies as well.

It's pretty cool, huh? I've connected with about 45 kids from college, not to mention keeping in touch with family!

I love it!

So, I buy airfare yesterday and today there's a DING. We lucked out though since it was less than 24 hours since I purchased, they refunded the full ticket amount to the credit card and I just rebought. It was only for our flights there, but still saved us $80.

I found a gift card for 100 free prints so i was able to ues that to print some of my florida pictures! With codes i found online and the gift card, it only cost me 11.00 including sihpping to get 200 pictures!

Great deal! I desperately need to get pictures printed, I haven't in years!

o so i dont think i told you guys my new vacation ideas
A friend of our family is getting married in mexico next summer--my parents are going and im thinking about it--its at an all inclusive . all adults resort. Alot of the firemen would be there so im thinking it would be a good trip to go on!
I know its going to be hard when my family is on teh cruise in january and im home, so i needed something else to plan for !

Oh you should totally plan on going, especially with a group you love to hang out with!!

I signed up for facebook after reading Vicki's post. I'm not sure I'm comfortable putting my actual address and phone number on there. I guess I'll play it by ear and see how things go. There doesn't appear to be many people that I know from high school on there

You don't have to put much at all, I definitely don't have personal contact info except maybe email!
