DDA Chapter 11

Jennifer, I'm glad to see that Kristine got it to work out for you.

Bernadette, I'm enjoying your PhotoPass pictures. I saw that all the kids had Dream Ears. Did you win those this trip? I also see what was supposed to happen in our one Epcot photo. The photographer had us pose weirdly (kind of like we were ducking, but not quite). The one where you are ducking has the hang glider over you. Ours just has us in a really weird pose...I wish we got the hang glider. If anyone is interested in seeing my PhotoPass pictures, let me know. I do need to warn you about two things, though: 1. I have already started adding borders, so you will see approximately 45 copies of each photo and 2. you will need to gouge your eyes out if you mistakenly venture into our Typhoon Lagoon photos. (Oh, and don't let Laura know that I shared them with you. )

I'd love to see them

Prayer request please! My grandmother is terminally ill and not expected to make it longer than a week or so at most. We are planning to drive to Mississippi this weekend with the kids for one final visit (let's hope the rain from Gustav is gone by then). Obviously, if her health declines faster, we will leave during the week. The funeral will be in Huntsville, AL. This is really rough on the kids (and all of us). Thanks for the prayers.

Denise, prayers and pixiedust: for all of you!

I vote yes

what do you think? Does it need a border?

I'm so sorry. I hope that she goes peacefully and that she lives her last days painfree

 I'll definitely keep you in my prayers. The weather here on the coast has cleared fairly well.

Does that mean that the worst is over for your area? Are there more bands expected?

I think a border would add elagance and make it look more Royal.

nope, I love me some books. Abi has asked for (and will be getting) a book light for Christmas. Cassidy loves books too...mainly if they have music written in them:rotfl:

See, we were separated at birth!!!!! No one else in my family likes to read. None of my siblings. My sister considers magazines reading. It's frustrating to only be able to talk about books with my father. Luckily, my niece is a reader, so things are looking up for me!

Prayers said, Denise! I'm so sorry that this is happening. Good luck with the trip, and I'll continue to pray for peace with the kids and this situation.

Bernadette, I love all of your PhotoPass pictures! You saw so many characters. It was a little sad that my two just weren't as interested in the characters this time. All of the outfits that you made are absolutely adorable! I'm going to go through them again when I have access to our other computer. The monitor is going bad on this one, and things are very dark.

I was going to just bring a carryon until I realized I could fit a lot of books in a bag to bring to you:rotfl2:

Kristine-I am sorry that Bill is not only going through the health stuff but is still under other stress!!

went to the gastro guy...colonoscopy is scheduled for the 18th....cardio guy iis scheduled for the 12th....he is lamenting to me that he wants no more tests prior to the trip...I told him it is totally up to the cardio guy...so we shall see....other than that, he has been tense due to ongoing issues with the oldest son...:sad2:

When are you guys leaving?
Tests are never fun, but waiting for the stupid results is worse than the tests. Hopefully the doctors will be able to give you guys some answers!
DH was trying to argue with me about scheduling his colonoscopy, but he did schedule it for October 3. I am off that day so I can take him and bring him home. DH should be thankful he is still on a 5 year schedule. I bet they will get closer together as he gets older. :rolleyes1

Good thoughts for your family, Denise! :wizard:

Beth - DH doesn't like the Sony, which irritates the heck out of me because we have dumped a lot of money into the accessories. BUT it turns out there is more to the story. He only used the Sony for about 90 shots. He took HUNDREDS with the Olympus. Then he turned around and said he thought the colors are better with the Sony. What? Then he said the one day he used the Sony at WDW that the battery was dead by lunchtime. Since we have been home he has been testing the battery and it is fine. Sooo, he likes the Sony better for daytime shots IF the battery is working properly. :headache: He thinks he was bumping the "review" button and that made the battery run down. He didn't care for my suggestion of keeping the camera IN THE BAG. It made me VERY nervous when he carried the cameras around just with the strap around his neck. I just KNEW somebody was going to bump into it (likely DS) and it would get broken. Then of course it kept pouring rain! :scared:

okay here is the 2nd one

I agree it needs a border now I need to figure out how to do borders. Any one wont to point me to the right place to figure it out?

leaving 2 weeks from today :scared1: I haven't done a single thing in preparation for this trip

Ann Marie, that looks like a double rainbow.

The pool at POFQ is a big hit with kids, even my 15 year old cousin liked it.

Ohh, what did Katie do, that got dad wanting to pour a drink over her head?
Yes it was, sooo cool!
She didn't do anything, Dana was just goofing around.:)

I didn't see a free dining bochure-just the watch bounce back thing. We LOVED the set up of the suites. The bed in the bedroom wasn't quite as comfy as Poly or CR but much better than any in the values or moderates. I really liked having a comfy chair in the bedroom and having a desk in the bedroom with built in power strip was great. The kids liked the beds. I tried out the twin that Joe used and it was OK-don't think I could have slept in it for 2 weeks. THe full size bed the girls had was a comfy as any value full size bed. It was great having 2 bathrooms, 2 closets and 2 tvs. I loved the extra storage in the kitchen. We did eat a few meals in the room-well made the kids PBJ's, mac & cheese in the micro, hot dogs and breakfasts.

I wasn't crazy about ASMu but I know that was because they were doing construction and we had to walk all the way around the main building to get to busses. They put up the walls on Tuesday night of the storm. They couldn't wait a day for the worst of the rains to blow by????? When I get things fixed on my Mac I'll upload some photos. As it is I can't open iPhoto and any other application at the same time.:headache: I did sent you a link to the photopass photos. Can I see yours?
Yes, I'll send them to you...

Anyone who wants to see my photopass pictures just let me know..I did my borders already so there are duplicates.

Thanks for the review on ASM FS.

I go to Disney next month!!!!!:goodvibes :cloud9: :woohoo:
:dance3: :yay: :dance3: :yay:

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for you both.

:cool1: I will miss you again though!
Oh no! When are you going? If we move we will have to push it up to mid August.

Jennifer,
I think a border would finish it nicely.
