I can't believe the weekend is over already.

me either...and all 4 of us are feeling not so great. Cassidy shared her cold.

we've been the last 2 years. There is a corny game show with 4 contestants. The contestants are drawn from a hat. They also give the audience opportunties to win pins. We won a couple. Bring your DVC perks book that you get at check in. They always ask who has one. They give out smart food and cracker jacks as well as lemonade. When you leave you get a gift. 2 summers ago we got the nylon and mesh back packs, last summer we got the AKV safari hats. If you have time or need a break I would say do it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so. We went from MGM to WHW then to ESPN club for an early dinner. MGM and ESPN were must do's so it worked into the schedule

When we went they chose contestants by who raised their hand fastest. The lady next to me was chosen. The only person who got a pin was a kid who answered a question the game show people got wrong. They said something about the "portable perks" booklets, but the people who had them didn't get anything extra.

Most times 2 studios are even fewer than a 1 br. Not that you would have been wanting a 1 br, but just for future reference.

Huh. You are right! It is just a one point difference, but the one bedroom is one point more then 2 studios. Weird! I guess maybe the washer & dryer and full kitchen make it more points? As much as I would love for my mom to go, I just don't know if we'll be able to get her there. Of course Diva will complicate things, too. We'll invite Diva, but it will be the summer before her Senior year so no telling what sort of plans she will have. On the other hand, she will be 18 so she could stay home by herself. But she won't, because she wouldn't have anybody to fix her food and do her laundry and listen to her whine.

Does anyone have any advice?

Mondays for the next 9 months are going to be horrific for me. Without going into the whys, other than it just works out for the best this way believe it or not, Alyssa has ballet on Monday at 5:20-6:05 and then they have Religious Ed. at 6:30-7:45. Luckily they are only about a 10 minute drive apart. So I will pick the kids up after school and may or may not have time to run home and change real fast. It depends on traffic. Here's my question....does anyone have any idea how I can get dinner into them without making it a routine McDs drive thru night???? I can leave ballet and run down to McD, go back and pick Alyssa up, and they can eat on the way to RE. We RARELY eat fast food and I don't want to start. Especially making it a weekly thing. Would I be a bad Mommy if I just packed PBJ, chips, juice box, etc and gave them that for dinner? I guess it can't be worse than McD. Maybe even better. UGH.

McDonald's once a week won't hurt them. A cheeseburger with apple slices and milk isn't THAT horrible of a dinner. They also have salads if your kids will eat salads. DH loves the snack wraps. Or you can pack a healthy dinner like everyone else has suggested!

That would work. If you go with yellow then you would need to wear dangle earrings and a tiara

You all are making me want to go in 2010. I don't even have summer vacation for 2009 planned!

the only reason we have anything for 2010 planned is Cassidy's graduating...other than 3 weeks from now I have no clue where we are going to have a vacation until 2010.

The weekend did go fast. Which is strange, because I never left the house except to go to Sam's yesterday! Princess goes back to school tomorrow. She is very excited!

I would make "picnic" dinners. PBJ, fried chicken, sandwich wraps, an occasional fast food, Cheese and crackers and lunch meat. There is a lot of car picnic choices. The kids might have fun telling you what they want to eat those days.

I did work on costumes. Hunter's is completely together and ready for the camper. Colby decided to use the zombie ghoul costume that Hunter wore at about his age. He wants to use his coffin again so we installed some lighten that will make the white gauze glow (I hope). We may also record some songs on an mp3 player and play those from the coffin. I think it will look cool, but we won't try it out until Saturday night Nick still wants to wear the dinner costume for the contest, but it is too heavy to trick or treat in. He agreed to wear the Hawaiian Tropic bottle costume that I made for Chris a few years ago. So the kids should be all set. I will think about making the Humpty Dumpty costume tomorrow if I can find a white bald cap.

I am SO jealous that you are getting to do this! We arrive on a Monday and Christmas Day is Thursday, so no Sunrise Safari for us this trip. I was so looking forward to doing that. I can't wait to see your pictures!

So im not sure if i told you guys yet, and nothing is definite, but its fun to think about..

You all know hwo I had that cruise booked with the family in january and have now canceled due to my new job? Well there is a chance that I can be going to Australia for christmas! It wouldnt be with my family, so it would be hard to be away for christmas, but i think this may be a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Bernadette sounds like you have the Feb. trip under control. Lizzy will be so excited! I am thinking about taking another solo trip in May

I plan on being there for my birthday (5/6) so probably the first full week in May.

Just got a cal my godfather is okay--he has some stitches and they had to take his nail off, but hes doing good!

Glad to hear it wasn't too bad.

Is it full day kindergarten? I'm surprised they have naps. That does not happen here even when they start full days

Emma has to bring in a towel to cover a mat for rest time. She'll bring it home on Fridays. Joe didn't do that but I'm sure they had a rest time. Lizzy only did 1/2 days so she didn't have a rest time.
