I really enjoyed Disneyland and California Adventure. I only ended up doing 3 things at DCA as we went to meet our parents and then returned to DL.
Sounds like your day was a good one! It is perfectly ok for you to be petrified on your first day. Tomorrow will be better, and the next one better than that!
I love the pictures of your room! It's just darling!!! I'm so thrilled that you are really a teacher! You worked so hard to get here, and now you have your very own classroom. There's something so special about that, isn't there?
I dont feel as scared tonight at least--thats a plus, right?
There is definitely somethign special about it--its MY room and MY kids, which is awesome!
So, I think my sister and I have figured out what we and our two brothers will be giving my parents for Christmas. Dad is springing for our Disneyland trip again this coming June. 5 day hoppers for everyone, hotel rooms, and a character lunch at Ariel's Grotto. We always have a great time, and this year won't be any different. We decided to surprise them with a breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen on the day we leave. This way, they get to see their grandkids with more characters, and we can start our trip home with a fun memory instead of the dreaded Disney withdrawal. What do y'all think? It would be a HUGE group. I think there are going to be about 30 of us going. Each family will pick up the tab for their own people, and we'll split the cost of mom and dad, plus the photo package.
What do you think?
Thanks for the encouraging words. I still felt like a lousy parent, and hoped that CS weren't called to check me out. I will try to not do that again!
Jen, I would love to see pics of your class!

Stephanie kept lurking about today and coming into the office where my co-worker and I sit. I knew something was up because she had her little brain squeezie thingie in her hand and was punching it in her other hand. Then it dawned on me. BUDGET TIME!!!!!! She was looking for money!!!!.
next thing I knew, the brain was on my phone!!
