Good morning, DDA! Who's the brilliant mom who said, "Hey, Terra, I have an idea. Let's go hiking on Saturday and do a real nature hunt." Oh wait, that was me. 
In hindsight, I hadn't anticipated hitting a wall of exhaustion mid-way though the stamping party and had forgotten that I had to take Phil to work at 6, but oh well. Really, though, I'm excited too. We're getting ready to hit the store for ingredients to make some trail mix. Then we're headed to a nearby conservation area to hike around for awhile. Terra is sooo excited and another cup of coffe should have me raring to go. 
Then, I've got to figure out what stamp set I'm buying! Ai yi yi. It's too easy to get carried away. There is a Sock Monkey set that I love, but all of the holidays I would want to use it for are sold in a separate set. I think I might just order the accesory set and then just use Erin's monkey stamp. I told her I'd just borrow it one day and stamp 100 squares with the monkey then I'd have them ready to add the holiday accessories, etc when I did the cards.
Well, I had better get running. I promised Phil we would pick him up from work on time today since he has to wait at least an hour every day that I work. To do that though, we need to get our hiking done early. I'll catch you all later!

really I should known better. It rained almost all night last night, so we are waiting for a little sun (yeah right) to dry the lawn some. Luckily everything is supposed to start at 11, so ya all have time to get here.
