As it looks for now, the rain is to hold off until tomorrow evening.

we've got a parade in the morning and a Drake Bell concert in the evening and it already looks like there should be canoes out in the streets. Poor marching band kids

So i have more good news to share--its early, but I have to tell someone!
I just got a phone call from the head of the elementary department of the district that offered me the long term sub position.
She wants me to come in on Wednesday morning to meet with her and 2 principals. They are waiting on approval for a grant and if it gets approved (which they think it will) there will be an open kindergarten position and she wants me to have it!

Deb -- congrats to the boys, and to you on your find. I can't wait to see Colby's room -- you've done such a good job on all the other rooms.

We're about ready for dinner and then going to soccer sign-up.

Well I am signing off..The car is packed & we are going to (try) to get some sleep before we head out. We may have internet access so hopefully I will get a chance to pop in. We should make onto Disney property by noon on Sunday.

Yes, she is an idiot. We booked the Theme Park View for the Poly. I'm in sticker shock over the prices! Can't wait to hear how you like it.

Well they flew him to Atlanta for the day so they must like him. He said everything went very well & the person who interviewed him said he was a very strong candidate. We should hear within a few weeks. Thanks for asking. Our fingers are crossed.

I CANT STAND PPL. went to walmart. ate lunch at mcdonalds there. this little girl kept trying to feed Watkins french fries(which he got 1) and parents didn't stop her. on our way to the baby dept Watkins barked. in the baby dept kids(his weakness) and some employees were aggravating him ie oh look a dog making kissing noises running back and forth in front of him getting really close behind him and running back to their parents. i was like ok i need to take him out so i ran him to the front of the store. by the time i got there he seemed refocused so i took him back to where desi was our cart and another were infront of us so i asked desi to give him a pet and i also petted him just to relax him a little and that seemed to help him. so tonight im letting him relax bc i know he was stressing big time

Its hurting..i know they say the trauma can make it sore for awhile, but i hate not being able to eat/chew..its killing me!

Hi, everyone. Work is going well so far, and I love being int he NICU. I work Sat, Sun, and Mon. I have a new preceptor as my last one literally ditched me at the beginning of the shift and left me with 3 babies as she didn't like working the "not as sick babies". And she's one of the new Clinicians and precepting is part of her job. She told me they didn't pay her any "extra" for it, and she wasn't going to be stuck with me for 8 weeks... What a B**TCH!

Need advice on Resorts for our next trip. We are definitley not going in December as I won't have any vacation time. So now we're trying to plan for next May.

The kids REALLY want to try the Poly and AK (would do a 5/3 or 4/4 split stay). At AK I'd have to do either 2 connecting rooms, 1 bdr suite (concierge), or 1 bdr DVC. Opinions and advice on either resort please? I think they really enjoyed trying some new places in April.

Many parents simply do not correct their children at all. You wouldn't believe some of the kids that come into the restaurant, the eat like animals and behave worse.
