Elizabeth - lots of PD and good thoughts are winging their way toward your Mom.

Jennifer - I hope those baby girls continue their improvement so that you can see your first twins. Care to explain what your new ticker means?

Jen - Don't overdue today. Enjoy the game but come home and rest so you can go to the concert!

Debbie - Are you packed and ready to go? Not long now!

Tammi - Laundry done? Ready to repack??

That is the plan! I have gatorade, water, and soft snacks in a cooler ready to go....i will be home before the concert--at least we can take the train to the concert and no one has to worry abuot driving to camden!

Sure! (And hey, my WDW ticker isn't showing up.... darn signature cut-off!)

It's our "vacation". We aren't going anywhere because I gave up 60% of our income :headache: so I was just calling it a vacation at home. But of course, while I'm at home, it's not like I'm off of work or anything.... so vacation didn't seem right. :rotfl: Anyway, in October, Kyle is off for 2 weeks. He picked the latest Fall block available so the girls will be a bit older and more interactive. It will be wonderful to just spend time with him, but we also have lots of fun things planned around the city/general vicinity, most with the girls, some without -- Segways, Duck tour (of our own city :rotfl: ), golf, apple picking, Fall Festivals, a weekend at our Alma Mater (parks, football game, concerts, etc), Zoos..... it's shaping up to be a fun "trip"! :)

Congrats.

Well, somewhere along the line I missed...

16,000!

We are hoping for less rain too.
(Sorry Marci, I know you guys in TX. could really use some.)
John needs to replace some boards on mom's porch.

I LOVE vacations like that! You all will have a ball. And the girls ought to be so aware of their surroundings at that point. How fun!

How nice of Matt from MickeyPath to host the countdown tickers! I was messing around with my signature again and finally just gave up. :rotfl2: Maybe after we get back from the September trip I will redo it, but for now, I have other things that need to be done!

It got dang right cold last night up here, and its only 59º this morning. I am really dreading the winter. :cold:

Have fun at Girl Scout kick off.

So it is 67 degrees here, it is supposed to get down to 59 tonight. It is gorgeous, the windows are open and there is a nice breeze. A few days ago it was 90+ degrees.

I am so glad that tomorrow is only supposed to be 76 degrees, as we have the Girl Scout kick off. Last year the kick off was on the hottest day of the summer. We had to wear khaki pants and polo shirts and it was not fun. We have to wear the same tomorrow, but the weather should be much nicer for that attire.

I managed to catch up, 4 pages since I went to bed last night :confused3 ;)

We are off to work on wood for a while. At least it's not raining....at the moment

Hope the infection clears up fast. pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Hey, DDA! Just popping in to ask for pixie dust for my mom.

Her breast is infected. I have no idea how that would happen, since it has been so long since her surgery. She said it is red and inflamed, and the redness was spreading. She went to the doctor today and they put her on antibiotics. She was already on Cipro, now she is on Bactrim. Her surgeon wasn't in the office today, but the physician's assistant consulted with another surgeon in the practice and they decided on Bactrim in case it is MRSA. :scared:

She was doing so well. :sad2: Now I am really worried about her. Please keep her in your thoughts!

Elizabeth - I'm sorry for the setback. I was wondering how she was doing with the chemo treatments. She will be in my prayers.:wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

One of my friend's granddaughter is on the volleyball team. I will be watching volleyball very eagerly this year. Her parents are leaving for Beijing in about 3 hours. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Go Kim!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:
How exciting to actually know of someone competing! We'll cheer her on too!

Tammi - Welcome home, I haven't even taken the suitcases out yet, today is designated as "work" day, so that is included. I work a half day tomorrow and then we head out Monday.
What time does your plane arrive on Monday? We get in around 11AM. Maybe we'll see you in the ME line.

She is always in my prayers, but I will add this specifically. I'm really enjoying your TR, Elizabeth! I hope you continue to have a good time!

Elizabeth-Glynis typed what I was going to say...so .....ditto!!

Tammi - Laundry done? Ready to repack??
Pretty much. I washed everything from this week, and just put it in a pile, because I leave again next Monday for another work trip. So that is ready to repack when I get home from WDW. I still have whites to wash and then I can really get down to putting everything in the suitcases. The worst thing is packing for one night in Baltimore before our trip. I think we are going to head up there mid-afternoon tomorrow, have a swim at the hotel pool and TRY to get a good night's sleep.

That is the plan! I have gatorade, water, and soft snacks in a cooler ready to go....i will be home before the concert--at least we can take the train to the concert and no one has to worry abuot driving to camden!
I'm glad you are feeling better Jen. Enjoy your day!

Sounds like a fun "staycation". :)
