I'm waiting on Orkin and the plumber -- more house maintenance today. By the way -- my present from my office was a handyman. I had asked for this and they found someone that would drive out to Kaufman. He's coming tomorrow and will clean out my gutters, powerwash the house and wash all the outside windows. Yahoo!

okay for those of you who have stayed at the value resorts. Have you ever used a softsided cooler? I have tried to get in on a fridge swap but our dates are taken. SO I am thinking of packing a softsided cooler as one of our carryon bags and then use it in the room for milk for Olivia and leftovers.

we did!! and it worked out great....I actually packed it in the suitcase and then when we needed it brought it out. Ours was a bag we use when going to Costco...it looks like an oversized tote (and flattens like one) and held the ice/water better than I thought it would.

Make sure you ask for a room close to the elevator. We disliked BWV greatly because we were so far from the elevators and with the strollers it was a long walk to the elevator before we could get to the pool, outside, etc.

We did exactly that, but be aware that the wheeled softside coolers did not fit in the overhead bins on SW so we had to gate check them. Packing them in your luggage might be a better idea.

Good morning, DDA! Hope all is well. I think Terra and I are headed to the zoo or Science Center with my uncle, his son and grandkids. One of the grandkids was supposed to have surgery this week, but it was postponed indefinitely (all for good). James already had his ticket, etc to come here for it so decided to come anyway so now Joe is bringing the kids over for the day to see him.

Unfortunately, work is still a big question mark after all as has MomBoss has yet to contact me since we talked on Monday to let me know when she wants me to come back in following Cinderella and possibly BabyGirl being sick. I have called, left messages and sent text messages and all have gone unanswered. I am at a total loss of what to do next. I am totally confused about how we could have had the hour long conversation we had on Monday and then her not having contact me back since. I just don't know what to do anymore other than start looking for another position and hope for the best all around. If she happens to call or text this morning, we'll show up at work as promised, otherwise I guess we'll sit in wait for another day.

I would call another time and leave a message letting her know that you plan on coming to work tomorrow unless you hear otherwise from her in person. (I'd hope she'd call if you left a message like that!)

I blew my nose just a minute ago and was shocked to find my snot a lovely shade of bright blue!

Can you guess where it came from?
