I guess I'll do a load of laundry when I get home. I want to pack DS's new shorts, and I only left him 4 pairs of underwear to get through the week so now he is down to 2 clean pairs. I was a bit overzealous in packing his shorts and underwear. :lmao:

All the new clothes have been put away, but I told the boys as the week goes by some of their other clothes will start to disappear. I told them they might be wearing the same outfit for a few days before we leave :rotfl: Riley & Garrett did not think this was as funny :confused3

So i am home from the interview..It was about 40 minutes long and it was just the principal and I--he was very nice and asked 2 pages of questinos and wrote my answers down. I think I did pretty well.
He said they are trying to move quickly since its so late in the summer already. He has interviews tomorrowa nd Wednesday and will then be narrowing it down for the 2nd interview. If I get the 2nd interview, I will get a call by Friday. He said he will only be calling 2-3 people...so now i wait!

I'm glad to hear it went well.... I hope the waiting goes quickly, and you get a call! :wizard: :goodvibes

I was stunned and amazed to hear Bob wish me a "Happy Anniversary" this morning... he usually forgets! We will go out to dinner tomorrow night because the two restaurants we were considering are both closed on Mondays!

Happy Anniversary! I hope you find a good place for dinner! :)

Jennifer - I don't see the new photos in the Picasa album. Am I missing them?

I was just looking at them Chanon...she added to the July album. :goodvibes

::yes:: Sorry!

That is cool.... but I was disappointed. I thought there was info on this coming increase! I hope I don't forget to check in on Friday

NO ...... Really??????
:lmao: :lmao: :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

I had a question answered that I submitted to a newsletter, how cool :thumbsup2

Q. Hi. I just read in your newsletter about the butterfly garden behind the Acadian House at Port Orleans Riverside. I have never seen this mentioned before. Can you tell me more about it? I will be staying here for the first time next month with my two sons and we all are looking forward to our stay! Thank you. (Submitted by J. Corbin)

A. The talented gardeners at Port Orleans Riverside designed the garden behind Acadian House to attract butterflies. This means that they chose plants that produce nectar (that butterflies can drink) and plants with specific foliage (that attract egg-laying butterflies and that caterpillars can eat). The garden also has woody plants for shelter during bad weather and for roosting or sleeping. A water source is also present. The garden is tucked behind the Acadian House to give the butterflies a low-traffic area protected from the wind.

Since you are staying at Port Orleans Riverside, a stroll over to check out this garden could be a nice diversion during your downtime at the resort. I don't think I would try to fit this into my Disney itinerary if I were not staying at Port Orleans Riverside or Port Orleans French Quarter, but it is one of the special touches that Disney adds to its resorts; one of those little-known secrets that make a visit special. Have a wonderful vacation!

Elin - Happy Anniversary. Where are you going for dinner? I saw yourBob yesterday around 1:30, driving YOUR new car! He was pulling out of the Bloom lot onto Ferry Rd.

Thanks, Tammi (and everyone else!) :goodvibes

We are going to go to Poppy Hill Tuscan Kitchen across from Kybecca. They recently won a top 10 award from epicurious.com (Bon Appetit and Gourmet) for their farm to table menus! I am looking forward to that!

And then over the weekend we will go to Bistro Bethem for Kristin's birthday. We have some nice partying planned! ::yes::

I do occasionally permit Bob to drive the car. :rotfl:

Elin,

Does it have to be one near Deb or will any one do? I am real close to about three stores and the Plant right across the river.

Thanks a bunch, Terry, but it does have to be Deb. Here's the reason:

Kristin's hairdresser is a Harley owner and came up with an idea for a raffle that will benefit a very ill child whose hair she does. She has been collecting Harley T-shirts from all 50 states. We had a friend pick up one from New Hampshire last week. She is down to needing only the one from Vermont. She plans to use the logos cut from the shirts as patches for a quilt. Not my cup of tea, but I bet it will raise a lot of money for this child's medical bills. She will write one of the stores in Vermont if Deb and Chris don't live close to one.

In my quest to find the my matron of honor and bridesmaid something "extra" as a thank you for being in the wedding - I finally found this: http://www.journalsunlimited.com/store/products/2129182/wine-journal/ at a local store when Bob and I were in Frankenmuth. I'm gonna attach a tag to these and give them a gift certificate from either Wines.com or another online wine co. They both love to drink, and it'll be something to remember us by whenever they get wine in the mail! (and I've fallen in love with gifts.com. That site is the best!!)

Can't think of much that is going on...I'll be back in a few to catch up!

...knew you'd like the wine idea! (You don't have a preference on which wine website to get it from do you??)

:teeth:

Not really... I usually buy mine locally. But, just make sure that they can ship to the state(s) you need.

BOB and ELIN-------HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

May you have color in your lives!!!!!

I do have a funny story to tell from this morning. After Garrett got out of the shower he was complaining that the shampoo did not work very well. I asked him what he used & he said shampoo & conditioner that the hotel provided. I told him our stuff was on the counter & he should have used that. Anyway I got to looking at what he had used & busted out laughing. I told him to show me which bottle he used for shampoo & it was lotion  So he used lotion thinking it was shampoo :rotfl: :lmao:

Needless to say he took another shower when we got home & this time used shampoo :rotfl2:
o geez hahahahaha

Jen - we will wait right along with you! :wizard:

Thanks Tammi--and somehow, that makes it easier for me--im not alone :)

Elizabeth- You can really buy a replica of Mary Poppin's Carpet bag.

Unless it had magic powers I do not think it is holding much.

They also have lots of cute canvas flat shoes.
