Well, just consider it a bonus/blessing in disguise since they weren't too concerned and yet you get to see him again! 33 weeks (I'm sure you might remember, since you had a twin pregnancy) is such a great time for a scan! They are still small enough to see lots of parts, movement, etc but you see so many different things than at 20ish weeks! :goodvibes

Yup! I'm excited! And because the high risk doctor ordered it, insurance has to cover it!!!! Another bonus!!!!!

After the ultrasound, we took the kids to build a bear, and they chose the cutest bear. He's white with blue spots of fur. They each got to help stuff him, and wish on a heart, and put it in the bear. They each took a turn fluffing him and brushing him, and Alan and I chose an outfit. I'll take a picture of it, as I think it's really cute! We did the "certificate" and it shows that Peanut was stuffed with love by Katie, Jacob, Leslie, Mary, Mommy and Daddy!

Alan was so giddy at that point, that he splurged and took us all out to lunch and then to Krispy Kreme for a dozen donuts! Then, it was back to Walmart (this time with lots of people keeping a hand on me at all times) to pick up some high protein snacks for me to keep on hand! What a family I have.

Jacob told me at one point, that he didn't want to let me out of his sight. He would be my protector at the store. I almost laughed as the picture of him trying to catch me during a faint just about did me in. But he was so serious!

sounds like a marvelous afternoon and the picture I have of Jacob and you in my head gave me the giggles. I know that bear...one of the girls has the pink one and one has the blue (I think).

hey guess what?!
I just got a phone call for another interview!
Its anotherl ocal district..this is for a 1/2 day kindergarten--I LOVE kindergarten!
So i will be going in on monday :)

Another day of great news for you, Jen!

Deb - I have NOT been able to get into your photopass pictures. Could you please post your pix from the SSR photo session?

I know you are busy getting ready to go away, so it can wait until you get back.

I haven't been able to get into anything but the very first set either. I look forward to seeing them next week too!

Warning-hugely long and personal post coming up.

Hang in there Theresa.....Believe me, I know it is not easy.

At some point, you WILL know what's right for you & the girls...and sometimes the answers are not what we expect....and the roads traveled to get to that answer are not very easy....but you will rise up....and you are a much stronger person than you probably even can imagine.

I couldn't have said it better than this, Kristine.

Theresa - you have every ounce of good thoughts I can send your way. And as many  as you can take.

the DDA is better than family...there I said it again...and I meant it again:goodvibes

Thank you all for the love and comments, I appreciate them.

as for my weekend, I get to go to a job thing for my work with Jim tonight...like I don't have enough stress:confused3 and I have a horrible set of teeth but have been putting off going to the dentist for sheer terror of them but I can't put it off any longer...I had another tooth splinter and it's near the front of my mouth so I am sure it looks espescially appealing. So I am going to try and get in tomorrow to get that fixed.

Theresa - I HATE HATE HATE dental stuff! I hope you can get things fixed without too much expense/pain/drama! :wizard:

Public Service Announcement for the day:

Keep your WATERPROOF disposable camera away from humidity. Of all the asinine things...

Jen - I am packing. It's a good thing I started last weekend, because in the past week I have remembered a LOT of things that weren't on my packing list that I wanted to bring.

Well, first things first.

It's a boy!!!!

Congratulations to all of you Glynis!!! How exciting for the kids to get to go with you and Alan. I bet after your day yesterday that was a relief for them too. :goodvibes

Wonderful news Jen, good luck!

I took Princess to Momboss at 4 PM, then we went to get DS a haircut. The lady who cut it last time is on vacation until after we leave, so another lady cut it. She got it a bit too short, so I am glad we have a week for it to grow out!

I sent DH out to put gas in my car, pay the WalMart bill (we use the card at Sam's sometimes), and get something for dinner. We have food, but it is all frozen and he didn't think about taking anything out to thaw. I think he is going to get a rotisserie chicken.

Tomorrow is his last day off before the trip. He is already grouchy. They gave him a really crummy route the last 3 days before we leave. I was under the impression that there are only 2 types of route - grocery or convenience. Apparently there are 4 types, with differences I don't really grasp, and the one they gave him next week is one he has never been trained for! :headache: :sad2: Next week is not going to be pleasant in our house. Again, good thing we are already packed except for DS!

Notice...We will be leaving this afternoon for a weekend camping trip. We'll be back on Sunday though I need to be a work at 3 PM on Sunday so I may not check in until Monday.

I still need to vacuum through and maybe mop again. These laminate floors are hard to keep clean.

I know I missed you, but hope you all have a wonderful time!

I agree about the floors, but I love not having that nasty carpeting anymore :thumbsup2
