DD7's "cool" room makeover!!

Thanks for all the kind words! It was definitely a LOT of work! She saw me painting the butterflies, but she didn't know about most of the new decorations & she went to a friend's house for most of that weekend, so it was revealed to her all done...she FREAKED out!

we have those letter pillows from Limited too, right??

The pink "E" came from Justice, but not sure where the blue one came from, that was a birthday present!

The paint came from Home Depot. I can look up the colors when I get home.

but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the bed. Can you tell me who makes it?

Her bed came from Bassett 4 years ago. I regret not getting more pieces at that time, and we are probably going to get her a full sized bed when she's 13..so no point in putting out the money now.

The butterflies are the topping on the cake but the walls are pretty awesome too. You have 3 colors going on, on the walls & it looks so perfect! I bet all your DD's girlfriends are telling their parents about your DD's room!

Yes, her friends all saw it at her birthday party the following weekend, and we've gotten calls from most of them to come back & play after that. haha

I found the bedding set at Target.com. Once I bought that & had it home, I decided on the colors for the walls. Then it seemed like wherever I went there were pink, lime green & blue accessories! (like the cubby storage bins...they were at Lowes!) Seemed like I'd go to a store for something else & find something for DD's room. hahaha

Its funny as soon as i looked at the photos I knew the bed was from Bassett. Dont worry we still carry the same line. Its terrace place. Not certain if the white is still the same color or changed a little. I work at a local retailer in connecticut. The room is wonderful!!!
