DD just made cheerleading!!

She tried out for high school cheerleading today. We had to go to the school at midnight to see who made the squad. 101 girls tried out. You should have seen all the cars lined up at the school gate waiting for them to unlock it. We live in a fairly small town, so it was funny to see so many folks out at midnight.

I remember that feeling!! Our coach would say to call her house after 6pm and they were all on her answering maching, very exciting. I tried out 2 years before making it as a junior. Congrats to her!!

Thanks guys. It has been such a nerve wracking week. She came out of try-outs last night and burst into tears. I think the stress was just getting to her. She has been on her middle school squad for two years, so you'd think the trying-out process would get easier.
