I LOVE cold weather at WDW. We try to only go when it's cold because it is the best!!

Back in 94 or 95 a group of women I worked with took a trip to WDW. They had been looking forward to it for over a year. The week finally arrived, we were so excited for them. For some, it was going to be their first trip, or their kids first trip. They went Christmas break...so the most expensive time to go. I will never forget it. We here in MA were getting temps in the 50's and 60's.....Orlando was 35 degrees!

I think I actually cried for them, I am not sure. I do know I could not stop thinking of them being in FL freezing, while we were having such warm weather. That is why I will NEVER go to WDW between Dec. and Feb. The weather is too much of a gamble.

It is fun at the World when it is chilly, bundle up.

I couldn't agree more! It got a little chilly last time we were there but it was all decorated for Christmas and so it just made it seem more special. We drank lots of hot cocoa and had a blast.

I'd rather have it cold because you can always add more layers. But when it's so hot and humid that even standing still in the shade you are dripping with sweat, that's a miserable vacation and one you couldn't pay me to suffer through.

we usually go in November and the weather is great,shorts,tshirts, etc. However a few Novembers ago, it was very cold and windy. of course we hadnt brought any cold weather stuff. had to buy sweatshirts and wash our jeans every night so we could wear them the next day. made the rapids at AK a miserable experience and didnt even try to go to Typhoon Lagoon.

I love it when it gets that cold, I find it invigorating and so refreshing. I can see why folks from cold climates don't really care for it because that's what they have do deal with at home. The great thing is that those temps are usually accompanied by clear blue skies and the sun sparkles. It's really beautiful here today!

I wonder how many people are there that didn't pack for cold temps? Disney is probably doing a booming business selling sweatshirts, gloves, etc.!

I just saw they are having a freeze warning- It should warm up on Monday though!!
