DD is 39" and we are going in a month and a half!!

I would really be surprised if you guys have any trouble at those rides that require 40" if your child is 39" barefoot. We have been in that same situation and my daughter rode Splash, Big Thunder, and Dinosaur at AK with no problems whatsoever. The day we went to AK she did have some higher heels on,(not purposely though), and they didn't even give her shoes a second look. However, I DO NOT recommend this ride for young ones We were sorry we let her do this, although her favorite ride is HM
