I haven't gone in to the DCL website to check on my cruises in quite a long time (at least 6 months or so) and they've completely changed the interface. I'm trying to access each individual cruise (i.e. our British Isles cruise), but when I get to the "my reservations" page with the list of cruises and hit the particular cruise "details" all that happens is a pop up window with basic details and itinerary. I used to be able to log into each cruise's individual landing page before PIF date and see the port adventures, the check-in button, the dining options, etc, even though I couldn't book them yet. Has that changed or how do I access it now? I use a travel agent and haven't PIF yet. Thanks!

You can't see those details until they're bookable.

the part about not being able to see the check in button has NOT changed. When you are Paid In Full and your Castaway Club Status "check in window" open up, then that button will be there.

On the page ...
My Cruise Reservations
Refer to this page to access and manage your Disney Cruise Line reservations.
----
for each ressie it does show your dining preference ....
Dining Preferences: Main SeatingChange Dining

As far as "favorite port adventure" - that feature never really worked for us under any version of the DCL web site. I create a favorites folder in my internet browser to save the links the the port adventures that I am interested in.

To find the Port Adventures page, from the Top DCL Menu find "Things To Do" menu (next to the Cart)
Click to Open, then select Port adventures. That opens up a Whole New Page. Then you can click on the section of port adventures to where you are going for your upcoming cruise:
Alaska
Bahamas
California Coast
Caribbean
Castaway Cay
Northern Europe / Mediterranean
Canada / New England
Mexican Riveria
Panama
Transatlantic

After you get to the selected page, choosing a port is easy. There is on the Left Side Menu an option to filter by port called "Ports of Call". It's a drop down and you can select one or many of the ports listed there.

Hope this helped.

Okay, if I recall the check-in button used to be greyed out until you could check in. It's just weird not being taken to an individual cruise landing page. I couldn't see a link for port adventures either. Those were usually available before PIF to plan.

It's now a "Link" instead of a button. I really don't like anyone's user interfaces any more - you have to go on a scavenger hunt, poking, prodding, hovering over, right clicking, eye crossing, etc to see if what you want is buried somewhere on the page.

I LIKE BUTTONS!!!

I LIKE OBVIOUS!!

The only thing most web sites have that's obvious is Pay Me Money. You clicked on something totally different and it takes you to that Make a Payment place.

You should take another look at my prior post - I edited it while you were responding to it.

Here is a link to the PIF date information - It's in the "Cancellation" section <----this is a link and its HARD to tell!!! ... when it says "74-45 days blah blah blah" that means that BY day 75 before your cruise you can start checking in.

Based upon your CC status the actual date you can start booking Palo, Excursions, etc is
None - 75
Silver - 90
Gold - 105
Platinum - 120

Just looked at the revised post--it does help, thank you. I guess I wasn't doing anything wrong--it just isn't the way it used to be. I knew how to access the general PAs page, but sometimes not all PAs are available for a particular cruise and you won't know that now ahead of time. Ugh. I'm sure it will all make sense at midnight or whatever time I have to stay up to when things open. I like buttons, too! And ROFL about the money. You are so right. The effort to streamline and make things clean is usually a total fail for me, especially when they eliminate links and landing pages.

Yep, thanks. I'm platinum and already have the day marked, I was just trying to get to the actual cruise landing page before that, which you used to be able to do.

This is on the Right hand Side "column"... We found that the Activities link became active several minutes before the On line Check In. I think we were able to add our port adventure and Palo ressie before we were ABLE to complete the On Line Check In.
