Hi All!
I have a question or two or three and if it has been asked then I am sorry but I am having trouble finding the answer. Anyway here goes: I was wondering how does it work using your points for a DCL cruise, specifically the 14 night Panama Canal cruise. I have the points chart for 2015 (not going then just need it as a reference) and the points listed for each stateroom category is that total points per person going for the whole 14 days? Also since I am the only one with DVC points and there are 6 others going (all family) how would it work when it comes time to book, would I call member services for me and my family and the others book thru DCL directly? How would our reservations be linked so we can be seated at the same table for dinner, make sure we all have cabins near each other? Ok I know alot of questions and I am sorry. But any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

It is per person for the first 2 in the cabin no matter the age. Bookings are by cabin so each cabin is a separate booking. For any cabin using points you must pay one adult completely and each person must be paid the same way (all points or all cash). For cash it's due at that time in full and it's generally much higher than the direct booking discounted rate. If you book one cabin through DVC and one through DCL directly, I would assume they could link them as traveling with or similar as they do normally when you have more than one cabin. You might get more info and insight on the DCL board.

I would book with a CS agent and they can help you maximize your points. And link all reservations. I have only used points once but it was easy
