So, on my last Disney cruise on Day 3 we booked our next Disney cruise and gave our travel agent the booking. It is a dummy date that we will move once the last half of 2014 is posted. On Day 5 we bought DVC. Does anyone know if I can now use points to pay for my cruise? Did booking with a travel agent Goofy it up?
And cancel your current one. The price you had has nothing to do using the points and since you don't have a desired cabin booked, you lose nothing in that area. What you should do is look at the comparison's in terms of cost and points. In this situation it's likely you'd be lucky to get a return on your points to match your maint fees. If you bought retail and esp to use points to use and are still in your cancelation window, you might want to reconsider your purchase choices.
