DCL Survey - Luxury Goods

I received a survey link via email this morning, and I just finished it. It wasn’t as exciting as I thought it would be.
It asked my opinions about luxury goods, if I would buy them on vacation, would I want to see them on the ships, etc.
Did anybody else receive this survey?

I always receive a long-form survey after a cruise. On my most recent one a few weeks ago, those questions were not asked. The main specific topic was the new app. Maybe you were targeted because you bought a specific thing in the shops or put your name down in a raffle ?

I wonder if it's referring to stores like Tiffany's on the Fantasy. When we were on board in March it had a lot of people looking but not buying. They didn't have any of the more reasonably priced "fun" stuff like pens, keychains, etc. The lowest priced item was $120 and it was all the same stuff you could get somewhere else, except for one exclusive DCL necklace for $325. I don't think it's going over very well...

Oh, I definitely didn't purchase any luxury items on our cruise! No raffle entries, either.

I also figured it was trying to see how many people were interested in things similar to the Tiffany's shop. The questions were even like, "would you SHOP for...." and "would you PURCHASE..." So like you said, cruisers looking but not buying.

I wonder what their weekly sales are in that store.

I never got the shopping while on vacation thing. More power to those that get excited about it, but Tiffany’s seemed like a huge waste of space.

That was one of my comments on the survey - I already spent a ton of money just to go on the cruise; I'm not looking to spend another large chunk of money!

I got that survey as well. It did seem to focus on whether you would purchase luxury goods onboard. I kept thinking of Tiffany's because we went in there, but it was way overpriced for no Disney specific merchandise. I loved the question about "How would you describe a person who shops for luxury." Or something like that...It also asked what amounts you would be willing to spend on things like handbags, athletic apparel, homegoods, etc. Very boring survey.

When I’m on a trip I only buy stuff I
can’t get at home. There’s a Tiffany’s near me at home and I never go there.
