How very nice!! i may have to think on that!!Ahhhhh... one of the beauties of digital scrapping. It fits into the duplex in which I live. And cleanup is a matter of clicking an X.![]()

I also love it when the kids pick up a scrapbook and bring it over and we sit on the couch and look through it and talk about what we did.
i do this little trick...do the pages BEFORE you go!!I like it when the paper and embellishments are all spread out and I am creating too.I also love it when the kids pick up a scrapbook and bring it over and we sit on the couch and look through it and talk about what we did.
I just saw the dates on your KTTW cards and you just came back and are already finished with the book!?!?!? OMG!!!! I am finishing up the ones from our 12/6 cruise now and hope to start on the repo last month by January.
i had the dinners, ports, parties, and room pages done and i only had to add a few more pages to finish the book. i do that with all my disney scrapbooks, or else I would be soooo overwhelmed!!!

Hey, to each her own, right?

WOW!! Girl you really DO scrapbook!!I guess if I kept our trips to a few days I could do that but I have 120 pages done for our 7 day cruise so far and haven't even started on the WDW portion of the trip before the cruise. I am going to try to minimize on the Repo book but somehow I think that with 15 days on the ship and 7 in CA beforehand I am not going to fit it all in one book. LOL!

Well, the first thing you have to do is have a program on your computer that can open files that end in PNG and files that end in JPG and that can put them in layers. Photoshop does this. Paintshop Pro also does this. I've heard that Paint.net and/or GIMP also do these. Got any of those? If so, let me know and I'll point you towards a couple of sites where you can pick up freebie stuff to get started.

Thanks Hypermommy. I don't have Photoshop yet but I am planning on getting it. I was just going to get the basic Elements for now. Will that be good enough? Please point me in the right direction. God knows I need direction!
Hypermommy -- I am not trying to take over your assisting TXdeVille, but I just wanted to respond about photoshop elements. (by the way, I just happen to be visiting this site to get ideas for cruise layouts -- because we are going on a cruise!!) Anyway . . .
TXdeVille -- I have never paper scrapped and only recently started digiscrapping. I love it! It's addicting! Hypermommy makes great pages so she really would be better to point you in the right direction. Just wanted to tell you about photoshop elements. I have PSE and it is great. The big photoshop has all sorts of bells and whistles on it which may or may not interest you. But I think PSE is just wonderful; don't let the word "basic" fool you. In addition to Hypermommy's help, take a look at this site on the DIS http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1475382
Again, Hypermommy, I apologize for sticking my nose in, but just wanted to say "yah" to photoshop elements.
Just bumping - does anyone have any more pages to post?
I'm hoping to start on our cruise scrapbook soon and love seeing all the great pages everyone has done.
Well, I came up with something I think will work splendidly if I say so myself.
The goal here is obviously to have some simplicity so autographs and pictures are the focal points. I have yet to make spots for pictures so peole write around the frames, but you can get the idea. I used my Cricut for the letters, Donald's tie, Mickey's buttons, and Goofy's hat. Otherwise, it was all my own paper piecing.
