When were you on the disney magic.

That cruise was for 11 nights starting July 28th from Barcelona in Spain, going to Italy and France. The magic was there for the summer of 2007 only.

Nice! Very, very rare to see (is that the Magic or Wonder, can't tell from this angle) parked forwards (docked starboard side). When was this taken? just curious.

The "Fresh Catch" photo location is much much nicer with the bow in the background!!!!!!

this was taken on the Magic's Jan 5th, 2008 sailing (not off the ship for a week even....I'm suffering from withdrawal ) so I guess it would be the 11th. Interesting, because this is the second (of 3) times that i've seen the Magic parked forwards. The only time I've seen them try to back the ship in, was on the Wonder on our first cruise, and the winds were bad so we weren't able to dock. I've heard that they usually back it in though.

Wonderful parasailing pictures, I hope I can work up the courage to do this. If my mother can do it and she is usually a big chicken then I should certainly be able to!

Parasailing is really not as scary as people might think. My cousin is scared of heights, and he was terrified of the thought of going parasailing, but he thought he would suck it up and try it, especially since my grandma did. He went up with me, and shrieked when we were on our way up, and then once we got up a bit higher, he's like "hey, this isn't so bad..." It's really extremely peaceful up there..you're just floating with an amazing view. My cousin didn't really believe us when we told him that, but once he did it, he was like, "that was awesome! it wasn't bad at all!" the wild ride is really the boat ride out there, lol. so yeah, I highly recommend it, it's a great experience.

and Andrew, I really like that pic....I would love to go on a Mediterranean cruise...Europe is so beautiful...I'd love to go back.

the takeoff and landing are both very easy. You sit down on the boat and when they start letting the line out you pretty much just float up, and when they're reeling you back in, you just come down to the boat and land on your feet. extremely smooth
