Has anyone paid cash to add an adult child to a 4 night cruise when sailing on points?

How much was it? I do realize each sailing with be different and the prices vary, but I was just wanting a 'ball park' figure.

Is it the same price as if you paid cash to sail and then added the extra adult? I could go on the DCL website and look there if that is the case.
Thanks

DVC negotiates cash rates with DCL each year. It will be somewhere between DCL's lowest and highest rates. The only way to know for sure is to call DVC and ask.

You will need to call Member Services to obtain the pricing. Are you sailing with 2 or 3 in the room? If 2, then the first adult is charged points, the second adult price will be set by DVC/DCL according to the cruise date. It won't be the cheapest, yet usually not the most expensive either. They contract between themselves each calendar year for those prices.

The pricing from DCL for regular cash cruises will not be the same. Also, when you book the cruise using points, any cash portions will be due in full upon booking, along with the $95 transfer fee.

I meant we would use points for 2 adults, and then pay cash for the 3rd adult (a college student).

But thanks. I looked on the DCL website and it looks like it is close to $600 for the extra adult on the 4 nights I was looking at.
