DCL Merch off the boat?

Is there anywhere you can buy DCL merchandise ahead of time to give to someone?
I have looked at the Disney store but no luck.

You can call 407-363-6200 and ask WDW Merchandising what DCL merchandise they have available for sale. There's always ebay or if you are in FL you can check the Character Premiere outlets which are operated by WDW.

I don't know if you are into pins or not. But Pin Traders at Downtown Disney now sells a small selection of DCL pins.

The 407 number should work. THey are supposed to have everything that is available on the ship and parks. Iknow the last time I was up there about 3 weeks ago, the outlet mall at the end of I Drive by Outdoorworld, had some DCL merchandise. Not much but a little including several limited edition DCL pins.

In June, the Disney Store at the Outlet mall near St. Augustine FL had a huge selection of DCL merchandise. Most of it was 2008 specific stuff at 75% off!! We got hats and scrapbooks that said 2008 on it (we did sail in 2008 so it was great find for us). In addition, on the clothes racks, there was cruise shirts intermixed with all the other shirts. I saw lots of shirts with a DCL "tag" inside them instead of the normal tag.

Being an outlet store, it is a "your mileage may vary" type of thing. Next time we will hit it on the way down to the ship instead of home. We can then have all kinds of Disney stuff for our cruise.

Not everything is available for mail order purchasing, only a small selection.

We were in the Orlando outlets last weekend and saw a TON of DCL items there.

I didn't know DTD had the pins, though. I'm going to have to check that out!

On our cruise in Jan 08, we hit this outlet on our way too the ship. My daughters bought grey DCL sweatshirts for like $10 a piece. The exact same sweatshirts where for sale on the ship for $39.99.........
Needless to say, we stop there on our way too the ship, and on our way home. Never know what is there!!!!

right off I-95. They are called prime outlet malls at exit 318. ( http://www.primeoutlets.com/locations/st--augustine.aspx ) We just saw it from the interstate and decided to stop not even knowing if they had a Disney Store there. That was more my wife's idea (the stopping) than mine.

there is a outlet mall on both sides of the interstate. We usually stay at a hotel at that exit the night before the cruise. Only two hours to the port. Leave by 9am, on the ship by noon at the latest. everytime.

It's the outlet mall on the northbound side of I-95. You get off the exit and then make a left at the McDonald's and go about ½ mile back to the outlet center.

I find this outlet much better than the 2 closer to WDW, more of a selection.
