"DCL Klondike Kruisers" - August 23, 2011

Maybe we should have an ice cream graphic on our cruise logo!:rotfl:

I agree about "Kruisers" but certainly everyone will know it's to be cute and not an actual misspelling . . .

If we get a little more consensus I will change the thread title: What about

"DCL Klondike Kruisers" August 23, 2011 (I don't think we need the 7 night Alaska heading if we are Klondikers, right???)

BTW, if you type Klondike too many times, it starts looking really strange :lmao:

We love it - and even the language arts teacher in me can live with the spelling because you can spell a name any way you want it!!

Behold! We have a new title -- we are now officially "Kruisers":lmao::lmao:

anyone any idea when they will fill us in on stuff like formal night...semi..etc. Dont suppose there will be a Pirates in the North Pacific Party...or will there?
We have only 'done' caribbean...so does anyone have any gen on what happens on other cruises?:confused3

My guess is we'll have to wait for the first Alaska cruise to find out.

.

Just stopped in to say hello. Love the new name. Glad we are not a pirate...again. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Well, I've done Med, transAtlantic, and Panama Canal, and we had a pirates party every time . . . but we won't know for sure until 2011, probably. For the other itineraries there were special parties themed to the cruise, so they probably will have something like that, too -- except that those were all longer cruises and this one is just 7 nights, so it's hard to know.

Hope they don't do Eskimos!

Eskimos could be fun...although isnt that very un PC ? lol Inuits of the North pacific...just doesnt trip off the tongue does it? Pirates in Alaska would surely be pushing it...and besides, i am going to have to pack soooo much winter/summer clothing, that i wont have room for all the pirate costumes too!:rolleyes1

Yes, probably not a working solution! Disney seems to like the pirate theme so they'll probably stick with that.

we had to change to the cruise before this one as my oldest will be heading to college and we want to make sure that we have enough time between the cruise and sending her off!
have fun:goodvibes

I went to all the ports of call city websites and requested literature. Received the Juneau one yesterday....... lots of great stuff in there. So much to plan.....

That's a great idea . . . I recently bought Anne Vipond's book, "Alaska by Cruise Ship," and have been getting a lot of good information there.

Best of luck to you and hope you enjoy it.

I have added a link to your thread on the main index page. Have a great cruise!
