So there are three restaurants on the Fantasy. When we go on our 7 night cruise, will we eat at each one more than once? How does that work?

DCL does rotation dining. You will be assigned a rotation which will indicate which dining room you eat in each night. On a 7-night cruise, you will eat in one of the dining rooms 3 times and twice in each of the remaining two.

Not sure if the rotations in this thread are still valid, but it will give you some good information on the rotations and menus: Fantasy Menu Pictures and Schedule

There are 3 main dining rooms, each very differently themed. You are able to eat in rotation in each 2 times and one will be 3 times. Your serving staff will follow you to each MDR. If you wish you can also eat at the buffet, or any of the QS places and there is 24 hour cabin service.

There is also the buy ups Palo and Remy, both excellent.

Enjoy your cruise.

You will eat at all three restaurants twice and one 3 times. You will Be assigned a seating time (early or late) and then a rotaion ot the restaurants.

The dinner menu will also be different each night you dine, so you won't have to worry about eating the same thing each night. You can also try Palo (all ships) and Remy (Dream and Fantasy), room service, the buffet Cabanas (which turns into a type of sit down service meal for dinner), or the eateries on the pool deck.

Are kids allowed to wear shorts? I have pants packed for a more formal night but khaki shorts and polos for every other night (not counting their pirate costumes). I can throw in more pants if I need to but am trying not to over pack.

Yes, shorts are allowed in the MDRs for both kids and adults.

Yes. Anyone can wear shorts. Even on Formal and Semi Formal nights. The only plays that require a set dress code are Remy and Palo.

Are the quick service options open at dinner times? I can't see us skipping a sit down dining experience for a burger but stranger things have happened...

(Also: is there a Flo's/cars themed quick service place on the Fantasy?)

The 3 pool deck quick service locations on the Fantasy are Fillmore's Favorites, Luigi's Pizza, and Tow Mater's Grill. I'm looking at one of our Navigators from our June cruise and Fillmore's and Luigi's are shown as open from 11:00am to 6:30pm. Tow Mater's Grill is shown as open from 11:00am to 11:00pm.
