Hi all,

It looks like we are going to add a couple or more days to our cruise at WDW after, crazy I know but that is the only choice we have on the order of things.

I am wondering which side of the airport main terminal that DCL bus drop off guests returning to MCO, which is where we will pick up our national car (doing this because it should have better choice of cars then Cocoa Beachand we use EA.)?

Thanks for the help

I've used National's Emerald Aisle at MCO, and I had to walk a LONG ways to get to my car. It probably doesn't matter where the bus drops you, because you'd be better off if one person can stay with your luggage while the other person collects the car and drives around. I had really sore shoulders after my experience with National at MCO.

the bus does go to the RESORTS at the world
did u know that ???
do u need a car ???

Dave:

They have these new style suitcases with wheels on them, since you seem to travel, check them out.:p lol We have them and love the fact that our shoulders rarely seem to hurts after strolling around MCO. lol (Dave this is a joke!)

We also use AE and it takes maybe 10 minutes from luggage pick up to hitting the Disney billboards on I4.

Peter:

I forgot to mention that we are going on the 7 day eastern. And the method of transport from PC to WDW is generally a 15 passenager van:eek: , not our cup of tea.

Yes, we do need a car and my mother can not use the Disney transport, she has fairly bad ankles and refuses to use a wheelchair, leaving me no choice but to get a car for our time in WDW.

I am just checking to see which side of the main terminal we will be dropped off at, when we take the bus back from the port to the airport, where we will have a better choice of cars to choose from.

Hoping for an answer soon,

We used Disney Bus Transportation in May and we were dropped off at the Mears shuttle location at MCO.

at the lower level of side a or b, they will let you know which side you need to get off on and the bus driver will also ask. we used dollar and the desk was right inside the door and the cars right across back through the door where we were dropped off. really easy. not sure where national was though. hope this helps

Ah, yes. We certainly have those. We were traveling with an infant, so we were quite loaded down.

I am only guessing but I would think the rental car agencies would be accessible to both sides A & B. Our driver stopped at all the spots for the major airlines. I am sure you can ask National where to be dropped off at and also ask your driver. Is there a National at WDW that you could use or near it?

It's been a few years since I travelled with one of those, but can't you get wheels on them, too?

Dave & Jim:

Like the whole idea of wheeled kids, we could tie a rope and drag, no more lost little ones. Now if only we could modify the older generation, maybe with battery packs too.

My interest in which side the drop off point for the DCL buses, was, there is a better selection of cars on the B side of the main terminal for Nationals AE pickup service, and I really hated the idea of dragging all my things across the terminal.

Last time we sailed and returned to MCO for a car we, just crossed the road to the parking garage and up to the second level, picked a car and checked out at the national gate, maybe 4 mins total.

So, let me just check, the DCL bus will drop off on both sides of the terminal, right?
