I've not done it (yet) but yes I am 100% sure all family members have to be up for this. It's like clearing immigration is at an airport etc I suppose?

I'm just taking my passport with me - I thought that would be enough but will be interested to see what responses you get! I know they take the passports away and give them back at the end.

Hi yes all family members have to be present at 6am to go through immigration that is when you will get your passports back we did it in May you can always go back to your stateroom for a sleep as breakfast is at 8am if you have a photo drivers licence take that with you too as proof of identity

Hi Ruth

I've been on a couple of Disney Cruises and unfortunately the only downside is the 6am visit to immigration on the last morning.

When you check-in at the DCL terminal, all non-US residents have to hand over their passports. If you have no other form of identification with you they will photocopy your passports and these will be sent to your stateroom (this happened on our first cruise, so we decided to get the photo ID driving licences for future cruises). When you leave the ship at Nassau, Castaway Cay or any other destination you will need to show your identification.

On the final morning all members of your party must attend immigration (usually in one of the theatres onboard) where they will be given their passports back.

I'm not sure what you mean about the tax matter, but maybe someone else can help you.

All you need is your passports, the green waiver cards, and you will need to fill-in the forms that are in your cruise documents.

Hope that helps

I don't use the "h" word often but I "hate" the 6:00 stagger on the final morning.

In February when we were about 12 people from the front a further 4 immigration officers turned up. I was NOT impressed !!!

Experience has taught me not to be there dead on 6:00 though as there are plenty of non US cruisers in the queue so we turn up at around 7:00. Never fails for us.

:rotfl: so up at 6am :rotfl2: get your passport back
then what ???????????

What is the latest you can leave the ship :wizard:

and do you need to pay for parking at the port

:cheer2: A year and a day to our surprise cruise :cheer2:

Parking at the port was $10/day (paid in advance) when we went in December. The immigration queue was huge & quite slow moving, however there was at least plenty of coffee & danish's available. By the time we'd got our passports back we could go straight to breakfast & then depart - arrived back at ASMo for 10am where we slobbed out until we flew home later that day. Went there as only need passport to get in & no time ticket. We'd also stayed there prior to our cruise.
