Though I take everything the site referenced below posts with a grain of salt, as they tend to focus on anything negative they can say about cruise lines in order to drum up business, I thought this was a positive for DCL.

Although I agree that witnessing this testing may have been a bit disconcerting, it seems a good practice to make sure the crew keep up with how it works.
