DCA Feels Different

I don’t know if anyone noticed lately, but Cars land is going in extremely FAST! I noticed this last time I was there ( a week ago) and then the time before that( a week before) when I rode CS…they are not wasting time on building CL! or maybe i am the only one that has noticed this!

You know the Red Trolley idea was originally for WDW Disney Studios...there are tracks in the street going up to TOT....but the they didn't approve funding and it wasn't finished.

I think this new entrance will give the park a more warm/cozy feel. I also feel that the Carsland heights will block out more city view and esconce you more in the park. I am glad to see more Mickey touches adn Pixar...they needed these draws. This park need more truly inspired Disney touches all over the place.

Tracks on Sunsest Blvd in DHS? I've been on the street many times and never seen them.


The rockwork going in to Carsland is great. It will block out much more of the power lines and the convention center that appears in so many pictures.

I wish they could figure out a turnstyle configuration that is not from DHS. At least paint it a shade of blue or something.

When I was at CA in Feb/09 the lake was drained, the Paradise Pier was under construction, and there was many changes undergoing. I personally did not like the Paradise Pier section of the park, and had mixed feelings about the park in general. With all the changes that have happened since, I'm eager to revisit the park and photo doc the changes to show the family once I get home, and see how much the park has changed since I went there last. It sounds like the changes made a big difference to the feel of the park, and am looking forward to see the changes first hand.
