DCA Expansion/Update

I've always wanted to go to Atlantis.. but no you're right that wouldn't work because it already exists :) I don't like The Neptune as much as I love The Triton. The Triton just sounds perfect! You have great ideas, Sherry E :) I wonder how we would go about calling them and inputing these ideas  :goodvibes

Thank you! But strangely, as much as Disney caters to the guests in their parks and tries to accommodate them, I don't know if they necessarily 'listen' to what guests would like. They seem to sort of make up their own plans and go with them, and sometimes they flop, sometimes they don't. I don't think they always do what the guests want. They kind of build stuff and hope that it catches on - and, usually, they bat 1000 but every now and then, they bomb with something!

You said it PERFECTLY ! I'm sure every Disneyland visitor/LOVER would feel the same way about not listening to us. ::yes:: But I know one thing, I'm pretty sure they listened to us fellow visitor/LOVER about not liking the name of Carsland. Recently, my babysister told me that Disneyland is MOST DEFINITELY changing the name to Radiator Springs or Route 66, courtesy of my uncle who works there. If they didn't change it when it comes out, please don't hate / quote me! Only because I didn't get it straight from my uncle. :guilty:

I can't wait for the redo of DCA. I was not a fan of the entryway and of Paradise Pier. Jumpin' Jellyfish, the Orange Stinger, Maliboomer [which is going to be taken out right?], and Mullholland Madness are just not Disney rides. I like what they have done the past couple years to the Hollywood section w/Monsters Inc., and Disney Animation. Cars Land looks pretty awesome. Let's hope it doesn't turn out to be a Bug's Land.

Yes, Carsland has got to turn into something catchier, I think. I get that they are trying to emulate Disneyland with all the themed "lands," but that doesn't mean they need to all be called "lands." Carsland is one thing, but when they get around to doing Ratland or Rodentland, that will just be a little too much! So they have to find a way to represent the Pixar movies without necessarily using the titles in every land. A Bug's Land was kind of cute because it was a play on the title of the movie, but not all of the Pixar titles work that well as 'lands.' Disney is clever enough to think of other thigns to call the lands, but sometimes they seem to just be hasty about wanting to get things up and going and they get kind of lazy with the names. EuroDisney was never a good name, so it is a good thing they changed that!
