DCA EE- updated with another question 6/3/16

EE for DCA is Sunday, Monday, Wednesday while we are there. Is there a better day of the week to choose? I'm planning on using MM for DL on Tuesday to knock out Fantasyland. And seems to make sense to go to DL on Sunday unless weekend days have different rules. Any advice would be very helpful.

Sunday mornings at DL are generally lower crowds and EE for DCA, so that is a good choice.

During EE at DCA, my family can do 4-6 rides. With a price difference of $225 for a family of four, that works out to $9 - 14 per ride per person. I personally wouldn't bother changing hotels. If it was under a $75 a night difference I would consider it.

Just plan to spend some extra time at DCA collecting FPs and working them into your schedule. Single rider line at RSR is fast, if you are able to do that.

It is a good strategy to go to the opposite park unless you have access to the extra hour. I would still use your MM at DL itself, that hour is valuable especially if you want to knock out Fantasyland with minimal wait. If possible I would suggest using your MM at DL the earliest day in your trip possible. Then make sure you go to DCA first at least one day when there is no EMH. That way you have at least one day at each park where you can be one of the first in the park.
I agree with a few additional thoughts.

- If you do not have EMH, then starting the day at the non-EMH park only matters if you arrive within 30-60 minutes of park opening. After that it does not matter which park you choose because the EMH crowd gets swamped by the regular crowd

- Starting the day at DL on an EMH day works fine as long as you arrive at rope drop and head to the left side of the park which is closed during EMH. There are no lines for rides there at park opening.

Right now my plan is to START off at DL on Sunday and Tuesday (using MM on Tuesday) and DCA on Monday. Also planning on going to DCA on our arrival day Saturday. We will probably be there at 12:00-1:00. I would actually prefer to go to DL on arrival day just because it feels like I should. I have Wednesday open right now. Is there a park that needs more days than the other? This is basically just for which park to start the day at as I'm sure we will be doing lots of park hopping.
