DC Questions

Okay forgive me right off the bat for all the questions, but I am a planner and like to have a plan in place and need all of you expertise! This is our first time to DC and we are so excited. We are surprising our DDs ages 9 and 12.

1. Do you get a dolphin swim time based on when you get there or is it already assigned to you before that day?

2. Do they provide towels?

3. Are the lounge chairs first come first serve?

4. Any special tips or advice would be appreciated.

Hi there,
We have been to D.C twice. Once in July of 2006 and again in October 2007.
First time we went we arrived about 9.30 and our swim time was 3pm.
Second time we arrived at 8.15 and our swim time was at 11 so I would say that it is done as you arrive.
Yes they do provide towels and you can get as many as you need through the day. They keep the towel area in the changing rooms well stocked.
There are lounge chairs everywhere and there are more than enough for everyone in the park. Just put a towel on them and nobody will try to take them.
Try to arrive quite early to get a morning swim so you don't spend the whole day looking at your watch.
I would say take an underwater camera with you as they cost about $25 in the park.

we never have to worry about dolphin swims, we book the experience days before we go, so we're always sure to have an early swim.

yeah...underwater camera's are good, you also get your own photographer taking photos when you are at the dolphins
