Has anyone seen the Dooney Haunted Mansion bags for sale? I know they ran out at the beginning of October.

In a link through the Disney Blog, about Halloween merchandise, they said these would be in the park again in November. They didn't specify when, but we are there for the last 2 weeks of the month and I am reallllllly hoping they are there then! It is the only thing I want to bring home from our holiday this time! Isn't it beautiful!

When I was at Vault 28 a week ago, the CM that I talked to said he had no idea when they would be getting them back in and to keep checking back.

I was told they won't know until they open the boxes.

Also about online availability - I keep checking the disney store online "parks merchandise" section and under dooney. I'm guessing that's the right place they would show up?

in the narrative below the first picture, it says in part " Finally, in September, we released an incredible Dooney & Bourke wallpaper bag. Good news additional orders of this bag are arriving in November at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts."
this was just posted on Oct. 31 so I am hoping it is both current and accurate information
further down in the questions and answers he replies that " The first order for those bags were sold online a few weeks ago. As you can imagine, they sold out quickly. Another order is on the way but I dont have confirmed release date just yet."
My hope is that because of the huge demand, this order will big enough to make everyone happy!
This is going to be my Christmas present from our son, who passed away. We had a family trip planned for the holidays the year he died, and we try now to make it down there at this time of year as a memorial to him. We have dinner at the Blue Bayou as well, because that was his favorite place on the planet to eat! that's him with me (it was his wedding day) in my signature.

I wish they would just sell these at the Disney store online. I won't be going to DLR this year, and won't be at WDW until June. I have my DLR D&B purse I carry everywhere. I've been thinking I need a different purse for winter but when I go to look at the cheap purses at Khol's (which used to be fine for me) I realized I was spoiled by the excellent quality of my current purse. I'm tired of straps that frazzle when the "leather paint" comes off. I'd love to get the HM one. It just looks really nice.

I can't see why an official from Disney on the Disney blog would say there is a shipment on the way this month in a blog from only 3 days ago if there were not going to be one. I would go with what he was saying before a cast member in one of the shops.

thankyou so much one of the last texts I have from him, is when I was telling him that I had booked our rooms for our trip, he was so excited. We still made the trip that November, with 2 of his dear daughters. We have been back now with our middle child, his sister, and her son, and this November is with our youngest daughter and her fiancé. One of the very best trips we had as a family was also back in November 2002. this trip will also be celebrating our wedding anniversary. It certainly is a bittersweet time for us to go, but we have so many good memories together there.

If you must have one, there's always the secondary market. I haven't looked lately, so not sure if they are still commanding the huge premium they were right after they initially sold out, but its an option. The wife is still loving her's. Holding up great.

The Disney Parks Blog has been inaccurate/wrong before. Decisions get made last minute and changes have to be made. Not everyone gets every memo. Disney as a company is infamous for the lack of communication between different departments and divisions. There is a reason for the adage, "Ask 10 cast members, get 10 different answers!" That is why I suggested keeping track of the D&B bags online, just to be aware of what is available there in case the OP cannot find her bag in the parks. Checking ebay also would give the OP an idea of what styles are available in the HM print and what prices are being asked. I would hate for the OP to miss out on her bag because she relied solely on the Parks Blog.

If they are available in the parks tomorrow, that doesn't really mean a thing, right? They will sell out right away.

Unless you are there and so are the purses, I think it'll be hard to get one.

Here now- no bags. Cast members say they will only be at Vault 28. They say they expect more but don't know when. Looks to be a right place right time situation..

I know its pretty much a right place at the right time but when I talked to one of the CMs at Vault 28, he said that if they were in stock, they would be able to ship one to me. I was mainly asking to see if they were getting more shipments in which would indicate Disney's acknowledgement of such a popular item and their willingness to order more product to keep it in stock.

Looks like they are still going for a few hundred premium in the secondary market. I suppose if you have to have one that would work because they don't seem to be getting any in at the resorts anytime soon.
