Daytona?

We are going to the Nascar Budweiser Shootout in Daytona in Feb/07, Does anyone know of other ways to get there besides a rental car?

Car service will take you there. Almost anyone listed on the MCO website would give you a price to get you there. Look for Vehicle-for-hire companies.

Car service to Daytona is going to be $$$$$. It might actually end up costing less to hire the car service for the entire day.

Well, you have to win a pole to get in the race itself, but considering the season ended yesterday, your bets bet would be to get a rental car for the day.

Daytona Airport is right next to the track.
Amtrak stops at DeLand, not too far away but U.S. rail service is pretty bad.
Rental car is probably the easiest way.

Fyi,
If you can, you might want to stay the night in Daytona...traffic can get a little heavy after the race and....

We went last Feb. and it was rained out on Saturday night and so the Shootout was held Sunday!
