Daytona 1 day tour??

Has anyone done this yet? I mean take a day to go to the Daytona Raceway? If so, how did you get there, we won't have a car so we need some other means of transportation. I've looked into Greyhound but was wondering if any of you knew of any other way to get there? TIA

I don't know of a way to get there other than your car. It is worth a visit to see the track and museum next door. Also nice to drive to the beach where you can drive your car on the beach.

DW and I did this on our honeymoon back in '98. It wasn't bad at all, although we did have a rental car. Took in Daytona U.S.A., from what I understand it's much bigger now, did the track tour, and then took a drive out to the coast.

Made it back to Disney just in time for dinner. Traffic wasn't all that bad.

I don't know of any other way to get up there. You might check with the Orlando Chamber of Commerce to see if they have any tour busses going up there.

Thanks for the replies but I found a company by the name of Dolphin Tours that has a special tour called the Fast and the Furious tour, we're going to try that. Thanks again.
