I didn't watch a single time over the holidays. Anyone want to fill me in on the high points? Shouldn't take too long since it seems that nothing new seems to be happening lately. Have they explained the island/killer yet? I mean, I know Tony was behind it all, but any more info?

She really needs to have someone see what kind of person she REALLY is.
Personally I like Nicole better then Kate & believe me I am NOT a Nicole fan either!!!!

I really hate all this splitting up the couples stuff. It is also driving me crazy that Jack is now free and refuses to keep calling Jennifer, or the police or ANYBODY.

He finally called her, but of course something keeps happening where Jenn never listens to the message. You just keep seeing that darn thing blinking.

Mad4Mickey, I'm hoping with next month being sweeps month, they'll tie up at least one of these crappy storylines and bring in something fresh, but then again, that could be wishful thinking on my part.

I just started watching again after a long hiatus...I have a question. Did Phillip used to be a jerk? I think he's really sweet to Belle and I can't stand Sean, but I guess a lot of people are rooting for him and Belle to get back together, but I just don't understand it. I started watching again while Sean was in the cage, LOL. I just think he's aggravating and wish he would leave Belle and Phillip alone.

Phillip was a jerk. He used to make fun of Chloe before falling in love with her. Once he fell in love with her, his character became decent.
I think people -- me included -- are rooting for Belle and Shawn, because they're apart because of Jan, but I know what you mean about Shawn being aggravating.

Everyone has been rather aggravating on the show lately.........LOL

I wish something or at least one couple would resolve their issues. How many times are Hope and Bo gonna be mad at each other?? And like some other posters have said, Kate needs to get a life. She was better when Victor took all her money away and she worked at the diner....she wasn't so interfering then....blech...................

I am so tired of some of these storylines....I have been an "on-and -off" Days watcher for years and years.....(lets just say I remember Doug and Robert at the club - lol). I can't get used to the new Mickey - some roles just shouldn't be recast. I am tired of psyco Jan. Still getting used to the New Belle ..no offense to the new actress - the character just seems to have changed.

I'm ready for some new story lines for sure!!

Just an aside here. But does anyone remember when Doug first came on the show he was in jail with Bill Horton and Doug's name was Bill Douglas and he changed it around so there wouldn't be two Bills in the same cell?

I know the characters, but I did not watch it back then....I started watching when Patch and Kayla were key players.....oh how I loved their story back then............they need to return (of course isn't he supposedly dead?)

I find the whole Sean/Belle/Phillip thing to be quite hilarious now. I laughed so hard when Sean drove through the window of the church. How did he avoid hitting anyone?

And the whole people being in the Dimera castle is ridiculously old. That storyline better be the first to be resolved.

I remember that. I think I've been watching Days on and off from 1969 or so.

I remember that. I think I've been watching Days on and off from 1969 or so.

I remember Doug from when he first started! And how Julie looked when she was young! I love the Old Days. Remember Bill's hands got hurt so he couldn't be a surgeon anymore? Yep, those were the Days! I have been watching since the mid to late 60's, right after it first aired. (I know, it's sad!)

I remember that about Bill's hand too. Do you remember that Mike Farrell also played an actor on Days. He was the adopted father of a child that was adopted illegally. I do know it was a baby boy. I think Julie was the mother?
