I agree the whole Phillip thing is crazy... they are going to take away a child from a fit mom and give to a man that is not his biological father and who lied to get back in the military and abandoned Belle and Claire.

Auntie-- Victor isn't Claire's grandfather but really Claire's great grandfather... Shawn is Victor's grandson, Phillip is his son but raised Claire thinking it was his daughter because Belle and Shawn don't remember emm errr doing anything Aren't you glad you asked He did lose his legs, yeah the military wouldn't notice that

I totally agree with Debbie. You would think Victor would be the one paying off the surrogate who is having Phillip's biological child. Unless Victor knows something about that baby that we don't know yet.
And, yes, the whole re-enlisting with one leg under a fake name thing was totally messed up.

Oh...so Victor is Sean's grandfather...and Philips father...so he is a great grandfather to Claire...but Philip is nothing to her? Is Bo Victors son...I mean you never know figured I'd ask.
I do remember watching some when it was revealed that Sean was Claires actually father...but how is it that he and Belle don't have any recollection of conceiving her?...Not saying much for the experience..ha ha
Also...I am finding these relationships a bit bizzare but interesting. This show is really out there...but fun. Just one thing..I find it a bit disconcerting that Philip looses his leg...and presto..he's got a new one, now the one legged re-enlisted fake id guy has to have a new face. I know it's a soap, and anything and everything is possible..but with the given state of our troops and so many sustaining serious injuries..this story seems to tred in dangerous waters to me. It isn't as easy as they make it appear..and of course it is a soap..but again..this is actually happening to so many people..sort of insensitive in my opinion. I know they had the "visit" from Heather McCartney..saw it on the news at the time. But still...now he needs a face...and what..will they have face transplant victim come on the show? How many times are you gonna do this? Sort of makes the losing of the leg seem less signifcant.

But really he lost his memory and was living in some small town until Jack found him (Who we thought was dead too). Jack was the hero for bringing him back but got canned from the show anyway so he is off with Jenn (who was thrilled that Jack wasn't dead for the second time) and Jack Jr for their journalism career.

Okay lets try to think what else happened this year.... I need help

Hope's son Zach got killed by Chelsea (Bo's daughter) so they were getting divorced especially since Chelsea (definately Kate's granddaughter) was trying to split them up and going to great lengths. But Hope and Bo are back together and just had a baby girl (that she thought was Patrick Lockhart until the day she went it to labor)

I was so upset that they took Claire away. Yeah, Phillip is not the biological father so why give him custody? Let Bo/Hope keep the baby. I do love the new villian Victor role. Better than someone being possessed or a loved character being the salem stalker...

Claire is being taken away because Victor has paid off authorities to do so, so Philip can have Claire...right now with Victor, it is all about Philip and what he wants. Belle has done nothing per se as being a bad mom, it is just Victor trying to get the child for Philip who thought he was Claire's father, until the truth came out that it was Shawn...which by the way, Victor was one of the people who KNEW the truth and kept it from Belle and Shawn.

Steve never actually was dead, his coffin was switched on the day of his funeral, so in a way, he is not back from real dead, just back from being thought of as dead

I'm a big fan, so I'm glad he is back, regardless of where he is back from This past year was a mess, but we have new writers now, they tied up a lot of loose ends and it's starting anew...I expect and hope for it to be a much better show than what it's been.

r3angel-- It is hard to think, Alex was still this last year wasn't he. Because they were both on Morgan Island with Hope and Patrick. That is where Hope got pregnant. Alex hipnotised Marlena and got her to marry him. We really don't know why? ALex went off a cliff when John tried to save her.

Jack never died, came back with Patch like you said then moved away with Jennifer ( came back on her wedding day to Frankie) Frankie left town.

Gloved one that turned out to be E.J. who is Elivs Junior.

He changed embyro's and donors between Shawn/Mimi and Belle/Phillip. Belle loses that baby, the other baby, Mimi and Phillips not born yet but given away ( Bonnie paying the surogate mother to blackmail Victor for money)

Carrie came back, hated Austin for taking her company.Married Lucas because she thought she was pregnant with his baby. Would have picked Austin to marry but Lexi said she couldn't have kids with him because Sami blackmailed Lexi because she was cheating on Abe with Tek. All came out what Sami did and Carrie found out she wasn't pregnant. Long story short she marries Austin and they move away.

I'm sure there is more. Especially with the young ones, Max/Stephanie/Chelsea/Abby

Patch really went crazy today. Then he didn't remember it.

I wish they would just name that baby. Hope would never ask Billie to name her and Bo's baby. That was to weird. Billie picked the name Eileen.

as I feel you are making fun of my obsession with the couple who shall remain unnamed, I shall not answer that first question

they will name the baby when all the votes are in can't say I was thrilled with the final 3, BUT one did Alice as a middle name, and I think Alice should be so honored....she deserves her name being immortalizied....I think I voted for Ciara Alice....although Doodlebug is cute

my new mantra is: poor, poor Steve ....he was tortured for sure and it is too much for me to take ....I'll be weeping and pullling for him for sure

Doesn't Victor know that the surrogate is carrying Mimi and Phillip's baby? I know I missed a few episodes but how could he not know and if he does know then why isn't he keeping track of that baby too, to take for Phillip like he's attempting to do with Claire?

And I am so in love with Steve! So glad to see him back with Kayla! I liked seeing him go off with Bo today. Seems like the old and good Days are coming back!!

I just downloaded and saw the day ahead clips..........WOW...Bo & Steve interaction is awesome, just like the old "days" You know, before the "eye" incident all those years ago, they were best friends, then after they got past that, they became best friends again, so this is so natural to see them helping each other. My poor dude has been through hell it seems...can't wait to see what really was done to him.......perhaps I should buy stock in the kleenex company

And I am so in love with Steve!
