Apparently the killer is going to be revealed this month....any guesses?

I'm really leaning towards Marlena...obviously from Roman's reaction it is not Tony. Judging by the way the killers gloves fit I really think it is a woman. I think John will eventually "Kill" her just as was predicted but it will be because she (or one of her personalities) is the killer.

Any other opinions?

I am guessing it is "Marlena" but we will find out the real Marlena is being held somewhere by Stefano & the Marlena we see will be "Hattie"

A small part of me still wonders about Phillip though!

I just recently started watching again because of this story line and things I had read here. So, I don't have a lot of history of the person being killed reactions. But, Roman certainly was very surprised to find out who the actual murderer was/is. Based on the way Marlena acted in todays episode, I think it just might be her. I can't see anyone else who has been a favorite on the show being the killer -- as most of the others are still targets to come, aren't they??

I'm getting tired of Sami acting like a child. Too bad they won't let her be the adult character she should be rather than the whiny child character. Allison Sweeney can be a powerful actress. I'm certain she could be one as an adult character as well.

Could it possibly be Celeste? Having these visions might be her subconscious mind trying to tell her something. I think Marlena acting strange and Nicole acting weird is just a red herring.

I've been thinking that it was Phillip, his motive for killing Abe would be to protect Victor since Abe was getting proof to convict Victor of having something to do with Colin's murder.

I predicted in the last thread that it would be Marlena's sister. I'm still leaning towards that theory....did anyone else notice when they showed the killers hands how big the gloves were? The gloves were bigger than the killers hands and Philip is a pretty large guy. I still think if not Marlena the killer is a woman.

Does anybody know the identity of any other victims besides Tony? How about Sami--she's driving me nuts! Just kidding she is a great character. At the end of todays show it showed Celeste saying something about more victims and then a split screen to Bo/Hope....I read another beloved character will be killed, Could it be one of these 2?

Just had a thought, maybe the gloves are a hint and it is....O.J!!!

Based on Marlena's actions today (yikes! boy did she tell John off!) I think it's Hattie pretending to be Marlena too.

Today was THE saddest episode I have ever seen! I felt so bad for Kate, she was so out of it, and in a complete daze. (Lauren Koslow put on a great performance today). But I don't get how she got blood ALL over herself. Cause when Bo, Hope and John went back to the kitchen there was only a small pool of it on the floor and Roman was still under that cart. Hmmm, a mystery to me! I think Sami is acting way too childish and she's making everything be 'all about her'.

Funny moment out of all the grusomeness today....when John said that Roman was "whacked", I had to laugh at that one.

I don't think it's Marlena because when the killer was with Maggie before she was killied she said that the killer didn't know that she was a recovering alcoholic. Marlena definitely knows that Maggie doesn't drink, plus Maggie said she didn't know the killer well and that she felt safer with him/her there, that wouldn't be Marlena either.

I don't know who it is, I'd like it to be Philip because I can't stand the guy from the Real World playing him now.

i was leaning towards the marlena/hattie theory...but maggie's murder throws me off. she invited the person into her home...but then said something about being a recovering alcoholic...if it were marlena, she would certainly know that.

john would know that too...

phillip...he's definitely a wild card here. he's in the military..i could see why maggie would have said that she felt "safe" with him there...but why on earth would he murder roman? the one man his mother loves? that confuses me...but maybe he killed him because he can't stand to see his mom with anyone but victor? but then...why would he have murdered the others? he and cassie were kind of close...sort of...abe..killed him because he was getting too close to the truth of colin's murder so he was protecting victor/nicole. jack? just because he was getting close too? caroline? i have no idea on that one at all...and whay would he murder maggie? i guess she did seem to "know" something.

they've done an excellant job with this storyline. they are certainly keeping us all fooled right up to the end!!

i'm praying that it's not bo or hope that are on the hit list. i'm hoping they come by and whack jan...i can't stand her character!

we know that tony's getting it...rumors are flying about victor too. could he be the "beloved" salemite getting it?

I've been thinking about Maggies murder.....I don't remember exactly what was said but didn't she act surprised that the person brought wine? I assume when they reveal the killer they will show flash backs and all of what we saw will make sense.

All I know is the writer James E. Riley said in an interview that they did NOT bring in a character to take the fall as the killer. So does that mean it can't be Hattie? Maybe there are 2 or more killers. I hope we find out soon, I hate being frustrated! I hope no character I love will get killed.

My girls got so into watching this during Christmas break, they are now BEGGING me to tape it for them to watch after school!!

As far as the killer goes....from what I've read in an article (an interview with the writer), I swore I read 2 things...

1. There will be 10 killings total by the time this ends in Dec.
2 The killer WILL BE one of the 7 suspects.

I really think that up til the day they actually film the show where the killer is revealed, the cast doesn't even know!! The physical outline of the killer has not always been consistent. Remember how big the killer looked when he/she was fighting with Hope?? I also thought the gloved hand yesterday looked way too small to belong to a man though.

I have read that the killer will be revealed on Jan 28th. I imagine they are filming that episode in the very near future.

I always imagined it would be Hattie pretending to be Marlena.....BUT has Hattie taken over Marlena's life or is she just popping in to do the killings? Marlena would have an alleby (sp???) so Hattie would be free to do Stefano's bidding without suspesion!

I don't think we can go by the size of the killer. I doubt that they are trying too hard to match up the killer's stand-in to the size of the "real" killer. Let's face it, soaps aren't usually too careful to make sure everything adds up. People die and are buried and still come back without much explanation. Why would they worry if the killer is a man and they have a woman standing in?

Marlena's behaviour was so weird today....she keeps saying my husband. She doesn't want to give Kate permission to have the burial site beside Roman's?

Whether she's the killer or not, she's definitely got a problem of some kind?

I think Marlena is really Hattie and the real Marlena has lost her mind and is killing everyone off.

I don't think Celeste knows ---- yet. I think this is how we (the audience) is going to find out who the killer actually is -- by Celeste having a "vision" of being the person. In yesterdays show, Celeste saw Roman being killed and his reaction to the finding out who the killer truly is.
